Title: [ANN][POOL] Infernomans multipool [POOL] Payouts in [BTC] [NEOS] [HTML] [FUEL]
Post by: infernoman on March 12, 2015, 05:13:27 AM
Well im finally ready to release infernopool.com currently the multipool is ran on a 6 core 12 thread 4.5ghz server with 48gb of ram. 300mb/s download 10mb/s upload. The server is currently configured under a home network but is protected by cloudflare and business class firewall and router. The router can handle 300k+ connections and is a 2xdual core xeon with 8gb of ram.

I will be working on getting a hosted solution for the pool shortly. but so far it has not proven problematic.

Infernopool offers 2 different algorithms to mine. SHA256, and Scrypt. Payouts for Infernopool are ran daily at 12:00 am UTC - 4

We also offer Direct Litecoin ports as well as a Direct Neoscoin ports.

Donations welcome!

Any issues, please report them here or feel free to PM me, as I can't always see every post.
You can also contact me on IRC with the screenname infernoman. There is a link at the footer of the page.

DDoS Protected
Simple setup and usage
2% Fees

Happy Hashing!

I am always trying to add new things to the pool and update the user interface, if you have any suggestions please leave a post here, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

New coins can be added to the pool for payouts with request. The fee charged is currently $3 per mining coin daemon monthly.
Currently there are 35 coins on the pool. If I notice a coin that is not performing well they will be removed at the end of the month. And users notified of the new fee's.
If i can replace that coin with another I try my best to do that to keep the fees the same. Coins will only be changed mid month if problems are occurring. Or if the coin can be replaced with another.

The fees will be going toward upgrading to a proper dedicated connection. The reason I've chosen to charge a monthly fee is because if I don't there will be an influx of coins and i wont be able to get anything done. If you have a coin, the fee i'm charging shows there is active development on the coin.

The first month has a reduced cost to cover my costs of coding and running the pool. But if you are not satisfied with the first month. There is no contract and the coin can be removed. If the second months payment is not received I will assume the developer is not happy with the pool and have it removed.

Working on a few things for the website, the stats now automatically refresh themselves on the worker page aswell as the home page, i will be adding individual worker hashrate stats on the miner page once i get the workers sorted by algorithm instead of by coin. so that i can properly display your hashrate if you are mining more than one algo.

Judging my payouts compared to poolpicker, and westhash, how many days do I need to mine for payouts to stabalize?
A full 24 hours at 70Mh scrypt should yield .02btc, but I'm getting 0.004.

i've been mining in your pool for a couple of days and i can tell everybody that the pool and payouts are very regular.. what you should do is improve the GUI to make it more comfortable to the users

Thank you for the review, I have been working to improve the user interface, and one of the things i have been working on is getting an individual worker graph on the miner page. If you have any suggestions for it I would love to hear them, the original nomp website that I started with was horrible and I've had to learn all of the coding myself. Its been quite a task so far.

Sorry about any problems. We were working on updating the backend to UNOMP and updating a few of the coin daemons. Everything is back online now.

You are lucky

I point my Antminer S5 to this pool but my hashrate is very irregular and I can't reach the return displayed at poolpicker.... (0.017 btc/th)

Something works bad for me....

Any idea ?

I had to stop using it for scrypt.
My miners were reaching 1-1.5mh/s
while on multipool easy 2-2.4mh/s
for unknown reason. so even if inferno pays more after lower hashrate i'm better off using someplace else shame

How come poolpicker shows 0.0164 or 0.0153 per TH payout, and I got only 0.00352 per TH on sha256 for the day ?!?

In my balances there's no peercoin, so there shouldn't be any late payouts due to confirmations.

I'm new to Infernopool, can someone else share his experience regarding the payouts !?

Thanks.

I have the same problem, ive tried numerous times to mine at this pool. the other day I sent 2.2TH there and after a full day mining i only got 0.01331684 i think some coins take longer to exchange than others do because i will stop mining there after a full day and then i will still get 2 payouts from it. so maybe it just takes longer to get going there. One thing i also notice is that when i mine there, sometimes one of my 2 antminer s5's will go offline and stop hashing. i wont be able to remotely access it. this has only happened at infernopool. only solution is to power cycle it.

I responded to your ticket that was created on through the support form. I also listed the transaction ID for your payment and manually verified they went through myself. If there are any issues guys please contact us using the form on the website at http://infernopool.com/contact We try to be on here as much as possible but sometimes forget about all of the places that reviews and posts come in from.

As you guys noticed we updated our stats to include the actual btc/mh/day and gh/day. The old stats were moved to coinwarz average because thats what they were. The reason we were using a coinwarz based average is we were having troubles with manual hashrate calculation based on shares. So the hashrate was being entered into the database wrong and altering the entry for the actual btc/mh/day. A lot of pools have their own ways of doing hashrate calculations aswell as profitability calculations. We were just working through some kinks. And offering the coinwarz estimate was the best option we had.

You've got a lot of wasted hash going on NEOS which is now swapping to POS. Blockchain snapshot was a while ago so new coins won't be seen.

Hello there ,

Infernopool is still slow,  confirmations taking days. Some coins must be upgraded .
Seems something for the site operator

Even more miners flee from here, since the pools hashrate is also declining .
https://yiimp.infernopool.com/?address=1Az2b34CAXoPPfGUZRwEwvvteTXSLha8xw

Can one guess how long it will take for my payout to be paid? As you can see, i am over 0,01 btc, so payout should continue.

Regards,

DS-M

Is there no support on infernopool ? https://yiimp.infernopool.com/?address=1Az2b34CAXoPPfGUZRwEwvvteTXSLha8xw

Coins are not maturing, due to coin update. Petrodollars waiting for 3 weeks now.

It is a shame, when operating a pool, and then lack of support.

Feeling ripped of, no support, no nothing.

At least take the time to answer emails, open up IRC, or read the post on Bitcointalk.org.

Leaving this site, and not sending recommendations.

DS-M

* Update : seems problem fixed it, coins matures, 1 payout waiting... but... no payout on mentioned time. Tomorrow perhaps.
               I  have patience... :-)

Out of nothing, after 3 weeks of not hearing a thing, the PetroDollar finished maturing.
So i waited and waited, but no payment.

Again i waited and waited, in the meanwhile Nicehash has been hacked, all sorts of stuff happen, but the support of Infernoman is not here :-(

Even now, when he gets al the lost miners, there is no help :-(

And so on it keeps going and going..

:-( I am baffled.

You will only get it when the pool gets around to finding blocks in your coin.
I got distracted and didn't pay attention to my sha miners as I was coding and went down a rabbit hole.
and then went "I should check"   ALOT of dgc but who knows when I'll get it? at 5 dgc per block ouch.
it's gonna be a long long while.

Looking at the balance which appears at the top and the bottom of the page (left column) it appears that this should be able to be paid out as that amount has appeared to mature. Does that make sense. I spoke with Infernoman briefly and he is looking into why no payment has been sent to my wallet. I am just waiting. Thanks for your input. I’m new to this.

regardless of what else is going on.. this is for you in the future as well with nearly any pool like this... at the top click on pool. scroll down to your coin..
See it in red? hover the mouse over it.. it will tell you how much of that coin they are short and until they find more blocks of that coin you ain't gettin' any.

wait my bad, I get what you meant now.. THAT goes to the other part of what I said, something is broken with the bitcoincash wallet, and the uno the pool THINKS it has gotten comes from (I assume) merge mining.. but since none of those blocks are probably "real" then you won't get it.

I just asked them if this was a technical error or if they were just going to refuse to pay.  Their response?  "Bitcoincash was forked."  That's it.  No other explanations (or even an offer to somehow make it right).

I've mined other coins on their site with no major issues.  But, this morning I had 47 BCC.  Then, it showed 30.  Then, those 30 were shown as being paid.  However, it was without the TX number.  Then, shown as not paid.  Then, the wallet and BCC were wiped from the site.  This ends my trust in them.

I've added them to my list of scammers.

I had upwards of 30 UNO coins as of last night and it's blank this morning. Why would someone be like that. He was talking with me on Twitter and said he would check it and fix the issue. Looks like he fixed it alright. Thanks Infernoman..I hope you can make this right!!

Twitter under the name Infernoman. He has answered a few of my questions but not yet offered to pay me for the 30+ UNO I had mined. He has the stratum offline but the rest of the site is still up just can’t connect. I will give him a day or so to get things squared away or fixed. I even posted a screenshot I took last night while the site was still live showing my address and earnings.

You are aware that most of those coins (I had over 4 million yes million dgc) were "exchanged" from coins that never existed because bitcoincash was forked there right? It means you never really had those coins.. HE never really had them so basically, he CAN'T pay it to you. You can get mad about it, or you can let it go, or I dunno, be all zen about it but in the end it won't matter.  the pool THOUGHT it was getting coins and we were "finding" blocks but we weren't so it did all the math as if we were but with literally nothing backing up those exchanges. Sorry man, but that is the way it is. Nothing having to do with scamming unless he purposely forked his bitcoincash wallet, which I would never believe.
Hehe when I saw the numbers last night I was like wait what? that can't be right.. then I was all happy for a second.. until I caught on.. then I was all pouty-faced. :)

My first thought was, "This is too good to be true."  However, my main concern thinking on it now is whether there will be some compensation for the hashing power everybody put into the pool over the last few days.  It certainly sucks.  But, I have screenshots of my wallet from that morning showing the balances.  Also, when looking at the hash records, it showed current times for the transaction fees.  The blocks were different heights by about 3k, but I figured that was just the way their service was set up.

I'll retract my statement about him being a scammer simply because I have noticed some of the pools that I've been visiting over the past few months have had no connections for the past few days and they all started about the same time.  Also, his site shows no miners working and I can't get mine to connect.  At this point, I would think he's losing money.  Maybe he can get it going again, possibly even update the obsolete coins?

Well it looks like my mining efforts were for nothing eh? If you think about it the site was up and live and mining. The problems that happened were of no fault of mine but me and all the other miners have to pay the price. I have dated screenshots showing the night before you cleared everything. Is this going to be your fix? I mean if you were mining somewhere and all of a sudden your bounty was gone how would you feel. Here’s to a great Christmas . I hope you and your family have a great holiday and a safe new year. I will be counting my blessings not my losses. You have my BTC address if you ever decide to make this right. Look at NiceHash....they just finished sending out the last payments after a 65-70 million dollar loss. Kind of makes you wonder about some people. This is your website and you are responsible. Here is my screenshot....

if you were mining solo into your own wallet and got on a fork where your wallet thought it was getting blocks that it wasn't it would be the same, yeah it was wasted time/mining. There could be quite a few outside factors (or bad actors purposely jacking with the pool but no reason for him to do that to himself - he didn't get his % of those coins or those coins.. or any others either) that could cause something like that so I wouldn't lay it all on infernoman either.. as an aside.. HE also got jack all over that time too.. those blocks didn't exist so whatever the pool normally takes.. poof.. not just that but people who had coins "paying" out might have emptied his wallet before he woke up or whatever and shut it down. So he may actually have lost quite a bit and be rather more upset about it than you are. 31 uno vs. 32 wallets (whatever they had in them before the fork) - now because the fork could not have exchanged the bitcoincash then MAYBE the whole thing glitched and he didn't lose as much as that, but LIKELY he lost alot. -Just sayin' not shillin' -

Yep gonna move on and see if I can make a few cents. I wish Infernoman the best. Thanks for explaining some of this to me Bajula. Merry Christmas! Any suggestions on a good SHA256 merged mining pool?

No problem and merry christmas to you as well.  As for another pool? try poolpicker.eu and THEN look at what the profit really ends up being :) and then look for every other pool you can find ((edit to clarify every other pool you can find that is NOT on thier list)) and do the same thing. I actually do well with the old multipool.us.. but not for anything but sha-256 not sure what is up with the other algos and them, but it isn't worth it as far as I have seen.
