Do you ever think how big the porn industry is and how bigger it will become if Bitcoin is integrated in well known porn sites?
Compared to buying porn through credit card and debit card, you can hide your identity with btc transactions.
What do you think?

Pornhub, with their vast audience, they can even make their own digital currency.

I suppose porn sites supporting BTC payments could give to crypto a boost to success similar to the one porn videos gave to VHS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VHS) VCRs in the competition with Betamax ones.

XXX and Titcoin are pointless. This just goes to show it because why would the industry use those coins when they can just use bitcoin instead.

Never heard of 'Hump the Bundle' and I have no idea who actual pays for porn these days but getting the porn or sex industry on board would be huge. I assume many people wont like using their credit card details to purchase this sort of stuff so bitcoin could thrive here.

Yes i have thought about this quite a lot and it is massive i mean them live sex shows where people donate to the stripper to get the gold show if these people knew about bitcoin and integrated it to their site it would definitely be good for business and better for the dirty little men :) They may not get caught out on the bank statements..

The porn industry is dead and won't earn much anymore. Porn is now free, everywhere. Amateurs who do have sex with passion did clear the field of professionals.
Bitcoin won't change the porn industry. Bitcoin could be useful for donations in the amateur industry yes. But that is all.

I supposed when bitcoin is accepted globally as a payment currency, it doesn't really matter what you want to use it for. But anonymity purpose, it would be useful considering you have the option to conceal your actual identity. But somehow those sites also prefer their customers to use credit card, because they can do a recurring payment whilst if you pay with bitcoin, they can't do the same.

I am not 100% but i would go with yes they do need a license to operate in most country's, BUT,, lol like you say if they are out of the country maybe a country that lacks on the laws or can be brought of with profit share . Could be a fortune to be made  or even if you could acquire the needed license in your own country could be a good business in a year or two.

You know I think we should persuade more Porn sites to start taking BTC as their payment method. Because many people don't want to use their credit cards to buy porn.

And BTC would be the best option as it is completely anonymous. There would be nothing in their credit card statement about it.

Kids are already watching porn, there is a lot of porn which is free and they just can't be stopped. The only people who buy it are the ones who want something specific and they would prefer the option to pay with BTC imho.

I'm not sure if the net effect would be positive for Bitcoin or not. For a long time, Bitcoin has had a seedy reputation which it is only recently beginning to shed. It was, and still is, associated with drugs, weapons, fake documents, black markets, assassination markets, money laundering, etc.

Yes, fiat money can be used to purchase drugs, bomb materials, and pornography too but the amount that is spent on these things is dwarfed by the amount that is spent on legitimate goods.

When companies like Overstock and Dell began accepting Bitcoin in 2014, that legitimized Bitcoin to a lot of people. Bitcoin should be looking towards further mainstream acceptance - i.e. in grocery stores and airports, than the markets which exist underground.

EDIT: And not to mention Bitcoin might not be the best choice for anonymity either even if addresses aren't reused and change addresses are used properly. The technology to link addresses to real-world identities is advancing rapidly and any new developments in the field can be applied retroactively to uncover past transactions.

What does pornography have to do with weapons and drugs? Pornography is a moral decision someone has to make. Currently the government has been making that decision for creators with the closing of their banks accounts. I think people miss the point with bitcoin in pornography. One reason, most sites already use some form of a token system, so I don't understand why they wouldn't just use bitcoin as the univerisal internet token. Second alot of these models are from international places and these sites only pay in dollars. Causing them to work extra hard for very little due to the exchanging fees and transfer fees of the getting paid in dollars.

There are plently more reasons but then they become more personal and aren't really generalizing the entire indursty.

Bitcoin solves those issues.

Now on to anonymity, most people in the porn indursty aren't looking for anonymity. They are looking to be discrete and bitcoin does that very well. Also people paying don't necessary want to trust the site to hold their credit card information, so again bitcoin sovles this. Being pesudo-anonymous it pently for this industry and doesn't really require full anonymity.
