Title: noob miner 4 way crossfire build
Post by: jimraynor on May 25, 2011, 06:39:25 PM
just build a comp for mining, its got 4x 5870s @975MHz

however i am a bit lost as how to make the best use of it.

i have never used linux but i am getting the idea that linux with no GUI is the most effient way to mine?

if you could point me in the right direction for my kind of setup i would be very greatful, free bitcoins for useful posts (when i get them!)

thanks

I assume you are running them all at stock with those results, do you plan on overclocking or would you prefer stock clocks for mining?

Can you list rest of your equipment specificly motherboard brand+model, grapics cards brands+model, current overclocked settings ie. core/memory/voltages on each graphics card, and last what psu brand+model.

I can help you further if you could hand over that info.
