Title: DarkCoin Instamine Scam Post by: AdamWhite on March 12, 2015, 03:38:44 PM Does anyone else think the 2+ million coin instamine in the first 48 hours is a disgrace to everything crypto is supposed to stand for?
The darkcoin fanboys don't seem to think it's a problem. They're quick to point out that the project needed funding, but the official explanation is that the instamine was an accident. Seems like a fraudulent way of going about funding a project. Is darkcoin a good buy, or is the project doomed because of the shady start? What is 2*10^6 * 0? This is your argument, reconsider it. Title: Re: DarkCoin Instamine Scam Post by: vrm86 on March 12, 2015, 04:00:17 PM I'd not invest a satoshi in DRK unless I would know exact time of the final dump.
What was dark coins value in the first 48hr window? What is 2*10^6 * 0? This is your argument, reconsider it. Main assumption of insta-/premine is that coin will reach any value in near future. I do and I also think the masternode is another scam. It seems the coin is self destructing though so don't worry about it.The darkcoin fanboys don't seem to think it's a problem. What was the value of Bytecoin when they mined their own coin for 2 years? Nothing. But somehow they get grief and Darkcoin doesn't. By the way what was the value of those Dark coins within a few days and weeks of hitting the exchange? As much as a dollar in some cases, absurdly high for a generic coin that did nothing at the time. So only dev and linux buddies insta-mined this one. Block reward was wrong at launch from what the op stated. It was 10x more. gee..
