Post by: zimpixa on May 25, 2011, 07:34:51 PM
Could some1 exacly explain to me what should I get, in which way insert to pendrive and how to setup BIOS? Once I tried it, but after 4 -5 failed tries I gave up.

didn't someone make a live linux USB iso designed perfectly for mining?

Regardless, you generally have to use a program like unetbootin to make a bootable USB key.

In the BIOS you need to go to boot devices (under advanced, normally) and set the REMOVABLE DEVICES to be the highest priority.  YOu normally press + to move them up, or PgUp.

Most modern PCs have the ability to boot from a removable device, many older computers do not.
