Title: Receiving Bitcoin if my client is closed ?
Post by: dunand on May 25, 2011, 10:39:21 PM
What happen if someone try to send me Bitcoins but my computer is not open ?

That person will have to send them again later when my client is open or the transaction is recorded by the network and I will get my money when I will open my client ?

thanks

You will receive when you open the client later.

Your client doesn't need to be open to receive Bitcoins. I address why in my blog post from yesterday: No One Sends Bitcoins (http://ironwolf.dangerousgames.com/blog/archives/1105).
