When you see the feature , you may wanna ask why Tecoin?There are Heavycoin,and It works well,Your Tecoin is just like a clone with nothing new,Well,we don't do many edit in the source codes,you can see many "shadows" of Heaycoin in Tecoin,so What's our golas?
We release Tecoin for building a fast and convenient payment way and a currency with a fine ecological circle .
In 2009,Bitcoin was born,But at first , I don’t know it.After 4 years,when I bought Graphics card,I heard the mining Graphics card,I know the Bitcoin,It made me so exciting at that moment!Govs never allow us to release coins , But Net,this virtual and real world,make our dream achieved!How amazing! and the currency payment&verify system based on cryptography and the mine system makes encryption currency system mystical and safe!I saw a revolution,technology revolution!
If encryption currency become the main payment way,only need a confirm,You could pay to anyone who use this kind of currency with the low fees , no intermediary,no so-called regulators department,everyone is the user and guardian and vindicator.
But now,after six years,my dream not only come true ,but also encryption currency market become into a mess,Bitcoin only was accepted by less vendors,and didn’t be the main payment way.It’s just a tool to speculate for speculators , many Trading platform were built with uneven qualities.

Because the Block reward depends on the vote of first 100 blocks(3.3 hours),so we will start Tecoin nodes net in 9:00 AM March 15, 2015 (Los Angeles Time http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/usa/los-angeles (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/usa/los-angeles))

Then when more 300 blocks are found,we will open the offical mining pool and Block Explorer,Welcome Miners come and mint Tecoins in here!(Well,if many fans like Tecoin , we will open pool and Block Explorer after 100 Blocks!)

Dev you should remove the Checkpoints from the Source. I doubt you have precalculated 30000 blocks already :)

Set the First Checkpoint to the genesis hash. I can create a Pull request at github if that is easier for you

In heavycoin . the first 100 blocks rewards are used to do IPO.We don't wanna do IPO.so the first 80000 TEC was wasted.No one own it.and checkpoints.I really wanna change it.but now.I am setting block explorer.maybe later?

Most Virus scans, call miners and Wallets as a Virus you have to read What they say. They say it's a Miner, and this is what you downloaded an wanted. Allways be careful but in this Case you shouldn't allways Trust the Scanner.

It is.  Mining right now at 11Mh/s on my 7950 with the crappy cooler and 21Mh/s on the R9-290 with GOOD cooling (that I built myself).  Note that what AMD drivers you have installed make a HUGE difference with this algo.  Whatever I was running when I made the BIN files that give me those speeds only gave me half that when I tried it with the current 14.9 drivers.

My batch file:

cgminer.exe --heavy --vote 0 -o stratum+tcp://te.suprnova.cc:3678 -u Atomicat.1 -p x -I 1,4 -w 128 -g 2

Okay!  Pool at coin-miners seems to be up and running so I'm switching over.  We should have these split fairly even an a few hold-outs solo-mining.  Oh, I'm assuming port 9845 for that?

If -vote=0 then then next servel block reward will be 0..............

For solomining changing the -vote parameter had no effect to me as far as I could tell, the wallet says my vote is 75 TEC either way. However, in the wallet's debug window I can change that with the setvote command.

If I don't do that it closes the cmd windows.

So it looks like this is a GPU coin, period.  When your dealing with orders of magnitude it doesn't much matter if you're running an old P4 or the latest Power8 monster.  I got 40Kh/s on my FX-8350 and a combined 40Mh/s on my 7950/R9-290.  Thousand to one.

To the poor sods with crappy hash rates.... BIG difference in speed depending on which driver version you've compiled your BIN files on (this for ATI cards of course).  I get the best hash rates using the 13.12 drivers.  Crypto-mining blog has just published a convenient guide for recompiling kernels without redoing any drivers right here..

Well I guess mining with -vote 0 did work. Everyone was advised to use that so the block reward is getting voted down heavily. In the wallet's debug windows setvote <number> works too.

Not sure which bug you're talking about.  There are a few algos that Pruvot's miner program does very well, but in most cases the GPU implementation blows it away.

Here's something I'd like to know.... How does one set the difficulty when solo-mining?   I've looked long and hard before asking, can't find anything anywhere on this...
