Lol

It's obviously not text, and unlike PNG/GIF, there's no helpful 3-byte sequence in the beginning allowing me to identify it :/

That was the node that your transaction hit.

and why don't you just buy a domain and host your gpg your self. Probably would look nicer than some random url

Well matey, it doesn't decode into plaintext. It's a bunch of control characters and related crap.

Are you talking about the PGP key or the Signature on the bottom of my Sig here on the forum?

my BTC.02:

I host my GPG key in my Dropbox. I also keep the revocation there, in case I lose the private key.

and they're talking about this:

That is a signed message from Bitcoin-qt using my private key that has the public key of 1mantis assigned to it.

you do know to verify a signed message, we need your bitcoin address you signed with, the message you signed, and signature. The only thing you gave us is the signature we can't do anything with that.

Well i didn't know that. Is there a tutorial out there that explains how to use bitcoin signed messages properly? As you can see I am trying to put all my verifiable credentials in my signature.

short tutorial, sign your message with unique information to the address, so no one can steal your signature and pass it off as them. To verify a sign message you need the signature, the message, and bitcoin address and with the official bitcoin client can only be done with RPC commands.

I think I will leave the signed message out... What do you think of my signature now? A lot more cleaner I think!
