A new edition is going to be released in 2016. Preliminary work has already begun. I have also begun work on books solely based on Peercoin, Reddcoin and DigiByte. These individual crypto books will form a series called "The Alt-ernative" Crypto Book Series. When I was writing the current book, Monero was only a few weeks old. Also, when the coins were chosen for this book, the previous vote finished on the 16th of March 2014. It is a historical reference of cryptocurrency from 2014. Hope this answers your question. The cover image covers coins firmly established in 2014.
