just started again in all this
and making a website about faucets
any advice about it?

the question is why should any or existing users should land on that site?

I hope you know who your competitors are? do you plan on using the forum advertisment price to get massive exposure? if that fails then what?

Are you implementing your own faucet? I see just a list of ads now.
What kind of advice are you looking for?

Advice would be pay more then the rest.  Get traffic to website.  But most of have no idea as far as pay and remaining profitable or we would all run a faucet :)

Add a lottery. It attracts a load of visitors if the pot is big enough. Maybe 0.1 seeded? You can make that back easily if you have good marketing. My 2 satoshis.

I advise you to stop with faucet, they just drain your wallet. (I've tried it)

Unless you very concerned about creating faucet, rent a trusted web hosting, buy your own domains, offer great stuff and start applying for adsense / other advertising company. But it'll take a long time

create seperate pages?
Post time based and popular wise websites?

I checked the website and it just has some few ads. You could give some information about the faucets like create a table with the information of what is the minimum payout of a particular faucet, when does it pay, how much can one earn max per day/hour/minute. This information will be helpful and you could advertise it by having the URL in your signature. Hope it helps  :)

If you have enough time, better run a bitcoin blog and run bitcoin based ads on it. That would bring you more value...

That's actually good idea to realize as it's way more atractive than clicking for a month to get out few cents.

im not hating on you op, but like most people who run faucets dont get any users since all the olds ones are still here.

And you have to match what they pay out as well or else why bother go to yours you know?

easily one of the cleanest faucet designs ive seen, dont put too many ads on it please

the only thing that i see working there is some ad about aliens faucet... no place where i could get my satoshies  :(

This was just a drive by spam post to draw attention to his banner ridden free website.   :-\

I really wish there was a sub forum in beginners for faucets.   It seems new people are the most likely to use wallets, and are targeted.  Lately it seems like a battle between not really faucets but either faucet lists or faucet rotators.  Ultimately trying to get one more referral for poster.

I have daily about 60 visitors on my faucetlist (http://www.kwaasteniet.eu/faucet/) but i think i have an average of 5 active referrals on each faucet in the list.

Well, I stepped in to find out what going on here, and to explore myself.

You have to work harder than that to get referrals.

Just make the design of the site better, and then spend some money on advertising it! There is no other way to suceed in internet business.

facuts are all over now looks like everyone got their own facut so now there is more compitetion in facuts who pays more or who have lottery as well so better think somthing unique

Add a gambling section or something, maybe more faucet and designing things will be good
But, i recommend you to add some drop down menu and more pages ;)

Another faucet! Wow, there are so many faucets, so it seems you might need something unique to set yourself aside from other faucets.

This is just my opinion:
-Not too many ads. Maybe just top banner ad, two side ads and a bottom footer ad?
-Make the site simple and the design user-friendly. Please don't over-complicate it, like some faucets
-A lottery would be great, as Bitcoinexp mentioned. It sure would allow people to believe they'll be able to earn a lot more.

I hate this kind of spamming. Creating free websites cause can't afford one and then spamming websites like this forum  :-\

He can create any website he wants, and he is not really spamming he just posted his website.

I think we should analyze this objectively.

It is fairly easy to create a faucet nowadays. There are sites like faucetbox that offers you a script, and there are some step by step tutorials like https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=886132.0.

You can sell your ad banners to earn some bitcoin if you have a good traffic.

The hard part is even if you create a faucet getting people to come, especially come over and over. I think that you will have a even harder time then referrals to other faucets with trying to create your own and trying to gain traffic.

It would be very much a uphill battle.

So are you do development with bitcoin project? You can make a thread on Project Development (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=12.0) section, and tell us about your project, also you can make a team, on that section there are a lot people who have experience to developing a bitcoin project.
