AllCrypt Bitcoin Exchange Hacked, Over 40 BTC In Funds Stolen

It looks like another digital currency exchange is biting the dust, as AllCrypt announced on Twitter their site has been breached due to an exploit in WordPress.

And another exchange supposedly "lost" coins due to a hacker/thief.

Stolen coins? Bullshit. It's an inside job. They can't fool us believing they have been a target of a hacker.

Exchange after exchange gets "hacked" this year. Like I said quite some time ago, it's a domino effect.

Glad the exchange itself is small so it won't be missed. I hope the people that are affected by this get their funds back.

And folks continue to sign up with fly by night exchanges... If you must use an exchange use the ones that have a proven reputation... preferably with insurance protection.

I agree. So many people refuse to use exchanges that demand things like ID. Then they are shocked when the criminals at non-compliant exchanges steal their money. Well, you chose them because they disobey the law. What did you expect?

Another one?!? And wasn't this exchange closing down? Fortunately they didn't have as many funds as the other exchanges.

As for stealing vs stolen... The coins might have been stolen by a 3rd party, you never know. But with all these hacking episodes...

Even if folks want to use these sideshow exchanges because they want to fly under the radar, I'd hope they wouldn't play w/ anything over a coin in their account there. Preferably a .1 or so.
