Harnessing Light + Oxygen

UV light triggers photo polymerization and oxygen inhibits it. By carefully balancing the interaction of light and oxygen, CLIP continuously grows objects from a pool of resin.

CLIP moves beyond the limitations of 3D printing to offer unprecedented speed, quality, and choice.

Game-Changing Speed

While speed is dependent on various factors, traditional 3D printing takes hours or even days to finish. CLIP is 25 to 100 times faster.

Below is a head-to-head comparison* of producing a 51mm diameter complex object like the one on the left. It can’t be fabricated by traditional manufacturing techniques.

Hm, not really as interested in the speed as in the 3D printing. Know it's been along for a while now, but I haven't met anyone who owns one. You get a car for the cost of a printer + materials are pretty expensive I figure. I'd love to make my own gun through, owning one has been a dream for a few years now. Not to do any harm, but just own one, swedish gun laws are nothing you could imagine - getting caught with one is pretty much go straight to jail (even if your own house, no ammo, no motive). The carbon is also interesting, how the fuck any of this works I have no idea, but light guns that you make on your own = yes plz.

Has 3D printing overall been a success in USA?

You can print so much stuff than plastic guns with a 3D printer. Even whole houses now...

You can own your own 3D printer and have fun with one for not much, printing small objects etc...

Fucking A! Ebay time at some point, too bad I've missed out so long. They cost a ton here, but guess I order from you guys and voila. Carbon printing possible with relative ease?

You've now met someone who owns two.

Amazing stuff!

This one about carbon-fiber 3D printing is also an interesting one:

Yes, 3d printing is taking off in the USA.

Defense Distributed's first product isn't anything amazing in terms of firepower:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberator_%28gun%29

But we love it as proof of concept and for the ideology behind it.

I'm sorry Sweden isn't a free country and the few people there with guns use those guns to stop others from acquiring their own.  What hypocrites!

That kind of jackassery should not be tolerated any longer than necessary.  The problem is most people like their comfortable cradle-to-grave state slave existence.

3d printing is amazing, our laboratory starting use 3d printing to make some component. It's really help.
It can fast produce what you want.

The metal printers showed at the end of this clip are even more amazing than the ones that use resin or carbon fiber:

They were afraid of plastic printed guns, let's see what they say when people start printing these babies :P
