Title: Bitcoin - mobile in app payments
Post by: kasaram on March 19, 2015, 07:59:43 AM
Hi All,

I am working on mobile apps/games.

Now I am planning to use bitcoins in place of in-app payments in mobile games/apps without any third party tools.

I am looking for partners who can join with me.  So we can make this plan very easily.

Any one want to join with me?

I guess your business will take time to develop applications, but I do encourage you to release applications for windows 8+ on mobile.

I have no precise statistic of how many Windows mobile users are interested in paying with Bitcoin (beside me), but you'd certainly be dominant if you start releasing apps in such platform the soonest. I would definitely do a donation to you from your newly released windows App.

As far as I know neither Apple or Google Play allow applications to take payments in any way other than their own payment systems, otherwise they couldn't get their 30%.
Have you researched about this? You need to be sure before starting this project. Or do you plan on publishing the apps somewhere else?

P.S.: You should remove your address, otherwise it would seem you're only begging for coins.

Yes, I have done analysis from my side. Google and apple will not give any problem if we use In app purchases with bitcoin.
IF we use in app purchase and bitcoin both in game, that will be problem.

So I am planning to use only bitcoin to buy power ups and coins, So this is not any issue.

Implementing to build app in android and IOS Games using bitcoinj . But not went well. Now I am focusing on android apps alone.

Can you suggest any bitcoin library to use in Android apps.

Are you allowing bitcoin to be imported in and then spent on in-app purchases? Cause that is explicitly restricted in both app stores. If you sell them bitcoin in app and then let them use it, that's fine, but you have to account for the 30% cut that each app store takes.
