Northeastern sure did make it interesting against Notre Dame. UAB keeping it close too but there is plenty of time left for Iowa State.

Crazy finish. Notre Dame turns it over up 2 with 30 seconds left... Northeastern turns it back over without getting a shot off. Nobody on Northeastern wanted to take that last shot. Imagine how many brackets would have been destroyed if NE made a 3 to win it  :o

Northeastern tried looking for a good attempt at a 3 pointer but Notre Dame defense was too good and came up with the steal. Very dramatic ending.

Nice. I forgot to add mine to espn but did a bunch of brackets with co-workers, friends and family. All had Iowa State so all broken in the first round  :-[

In the match listing in the op what is the difference between the bold green names and the team with the advances bracket ?

The bold green means they covered the spread.

The advances means they won the game and will advance to the next round of the tournament.

#3 Baylor goes down to #14 Georgia State, 57 - 56. Team just not showing up or underestimating these lower ranked teams?

I was hearing a lot about potential upset from Georgia St but their top player was scratched before tipoff so seemed like easy Baylor win.

Guess not. Already 2 big upsets.

I was a little surprised Baylor only scored 56 points. Anyone actually watch that game? Bad offense by Baylor or good defense by Georgia State?

Interesting note: First four underdogs have covered the spread. Both Butler (Jones injured, out) and UCLA are on track to covering.

Dogs seem the way to go at least for this first round. Butler wins and UCLA should cover as well  :o

I'm liking VCU to beat Ohio State.

and Ohio State with the win. They allowed that VCU layup so didn't cover, sucks for whoever had the Ohio State spread at -3.5. Yes, another dog covers. 7 out of 8 dogs have covered so far.

Going with North Carolina -10. First bet of the tournament (not including brackets), just don't see Harvard keeping up with NC tonight.

Sucks for under bettors also, with a game winning shot under would of hit. but since it went to OT the over hit.

I like Michigan State, Northern Iowa, Indiana, Oregon and Dayton today.

I would like to bet on a team for march madness that has reasonably high odds around 2 and doesn't matter if it's a ML bet or a spread. Any ideas are appreciated thank you.

I like Butler today as a dog. I think they beat ND straight up.

Villanova is the first number one seed to go down!! NC state barely squeaks by LSU and then takes down a giant. Only in March  ;D

Duke looks like the strongest team in the tournament next to Kentucky. SDSU did not look 100% but the way Duke dominated them was impressive.

Wichita over Kansas was also impressive. I see them facing Kentucky for the region.

I have $200 on Gonzaga so wish me luck. It looks good atm.

I think Louisville wins outright versus UNI tonight. Pitino too much experience in post season for UNI. That being said I'm playing safe and taking the points...
