Sigh. I know this has been said before but newbies should not be able to create self moderated or lock threads in the marketplace. Makes it much easier for them to scam, especially when people still don't check feedback or simply ignore it.

I know mods won't delete it but they should at least move it to digital goods, where it belongs  ;)

This is done however your negative trust should be sufficient (or were you removed from default trust when CITM was removed)

Edit: it looks like your negative trust still shows up by default.

I have always seen his ratings as trusted and I have CITM as not trustworthy in my list, just because he has a lot of users on his trust list.

xetsr, I moved the thread for you.

People newer to bitcoin and this forum will probably still fall victim to this. Hopefully they will see negative feedback from several people and stay away.

Just wondering, why are new accounts able to self moderate and lock threads in the marketplace section? Is it a SMF permissions thing? Looks to do more harm then good IMO.

People are greedy and will likely fall victim to him when he offers a good deal on those gift cards. There have been countless Starbucks gift card sellers who are buying gift cards via stolen credit cards who eventually end up scamming and many people end up stupidly willing to send first despite having multiple negatives.

I am not sure why newbies can create self moderated threads however I imagine it has to do with the lack of newbie jail and the fact that the forum doesn't moderate scams. Newbies need to be able to lock threads for once they are done selling something (once what they were selling has sold).

You're obviously just spamming and haven't read much of this thread. See you soon in the meta section when you're asking why your account was banned  :D All that hard work for nothing  :P
