Cryptocurrency wise, Police authorities has a lot in hand.
Another scam from an 'alleged' illegal website.

Old news really, in case you did not know that -  vanishing of Silk Road 2.0 or 'Evolution' as it is called by some people caused partially latest bitcoin price drop. And they disappeared recently, but you now what? Evolution website was created by former carders and fraudsters, would you expect anything less?

And this surprises anyone why? 

OF COURSE crooks steal money!  If they didn't they wouldn't be crooks!

Yeah, thugs run off with online cash all the time. What would you expect when using funds to buy illicit things?

At least it was something that endorsed illegal goods. Majority - if not all - of the traders on Evo kinda deserved it for trading drugs and what not.

Yep agree most of the hardcore drug dealers we should not have any thoughts for or the guys who sold guns and stolen credit cards and basically easier to say everyone on there except the few weed dealers who now could be in life threatening danger because they done a runner with the cartels money, i say that because weed is perfectly legal around a lot of the world and rightfully so in moderation, the rest deserved it imho.

We are not to fuc8ed it will only be a couple of flash crashes so that is actually good if you are ready let them dump  :P plus they won't dump at once.

 I read one of them a woman is to be doxd real soon and she is probably with the main guy, i would not like to be him the money means nothing when you are being hunted buy the kinds of people that will be on his case lol

I'm worried that those flash crashes may not be flashes. They could be major down falls in the long run. She's a woman  ;D. Myth confirmed, all females are scammers.

Btc has become too associated with scams and allows criminal activity to take place online. These stories are very bad for btc

It's because of the way bitcoin works and all the government shills is the reason why we focus on the bad parts of bitcoin.  There are lots of other things about bitcoin that is good. Such as decentralisation and low transaction fees.

This is simply not true.  We already have big companies accepting bitcoin.  It is great for people who don't have credit or are living abroad.  No need to keep thousands of dollars in your home country's bank account to pay your credit card anymore.

How is this not true? Did you not understand his statement? He did not say that we don't have great things happening with Bitcoin, nor that such companies aren't starting to accept it. He said that the government shill and well let me add this one, media are mostly focused on every single bad thing that happens to Bitcoin while rarely writing something positive.
This is bad for Bitcoin, but not that bad. It would be best if we stopped making threads about these things (unless a major one occurs) and ignore them. Shills usually take advantage of such threads.

I don't know why people are reaction like that bitcoin is evil and is a devil's invention. Where is the logic here? Bitcoin is just money! New kind of currency, of course it will be used to buy 'wrong' stuff. Exactly like dollars are used to buy drugs or illegal weapons everyday.

All of these darknet markets eventually turn out to be scams .. why wait around for the police to raid your house when you can simply steal a couple million dollars and vanish? simple logic, folks

The funniest thing here is that people who were using Evolution or previous instances of black market sites are crying now that they lost all theirs bitcoins.

Isn't there at least one darknet market where you send the funds straight to the seller? I thought I heard about that a year or two ago.
Also, how does the site collect their % fee?

Why can't people just learn that you only put money/bitcoin in the control of others that you are willing to lose it is so simple but greed always gets them and always will, these guys who lost coin have probably lost it in previous hacks/thefts and still they trust a darknet site holding their coins. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. If you only have on the site what you don't mind losing even better you expect to lose it then when the worse happens like here you won't really be fussed. All these people owing big time dealers money because they never listened to the number one rule. Feel a little sorry for them. They will find the admin in the end and my guess is it won't be pretty.. lol

I just think thats the only place its being used with some sort of benefit.  It benefits criminals who want to deal online anonymously.  Other than that its too complex for the average person to use regularly

A decentralized network can not and will not protect you when you engage with centralized systems. An escrow or online account wallet is a centralized system, use at your own risk.

You are right. But Evolution customers were just lazy. Because this site have state of the art anti acam system. "That system, would require at least two out of three parties in a transaction -the buyer, the seller, and Evolution's administrators -to sign off on a deal. But due to its complexity, buyers rarely used the feature". So it is really stupidity that is the root of all evil here.

Where are you getting that quote from? Isn't it possible that they somehow manipulated the 2 of 3 escrow as well? Though if the system was indeed so complicated you can't blame people for forgoing it, though I think a decentralized system that doesn't involve the market admins is the way to go.

What do youthink criminals will do. They ran with the money and never look back.
