Well you decided to premine 100,000 blocks so unless you're the one propping the price up, its safe to say this coin will, in fact, be worth nothing.

Nothing personal, large premines just aren't playing on the markets these days, and no one is falling for the "it's only .5%" trick when you're talking about .5% of coins that will be mined in 100 years.

We are not going to use any usual methods, especially not pump&dump. :)
Currently there's an internal discussion about the purpose of the premine, I expect there will be the final decision in a few days.

Since this coin was created with children in mind, and I kinda have the veto on the subject, the whole premine will most probably go to the needy children all around the world. I don't want to fool anyone, please don't take this statement seriously until we make an official announcement and produce some evidence.

The basic idea is to transfer LEA to the charity organization's wallet, which will have to be officially documented. The organization will have the right to activate the funds at their own discretion, at any time, and use it according to their actual priorities.
Our job will be to use LEA as much as possible, mine, trade, find some merchants that would accept LEA, and get involved in other activities that could increase its value.

why Dev of LEA not update info/news?!

I am new in this forum. I wanted to ask if anyone has had issues with yobit not placing deposits into users accounts? Today I had 4 deposits in a row not show up at all in my account. and that was hours after the respective deposits were sent and confirmed. I sent them a ticket asking to look into that and sent txid for previous 15 transactions/deposits. ive sent over 50 deposits to that account never had an issue. All of a sudden i sent the 4 deposits and went to bed. then woke up and coin is still not there.
Sucks cryptopia wont bring back lea/btc. they are more honest and reply to their tickets fast.

I noticed that the tomato arrived into our pool and ever since comes and goes with the huge th/s and once parked no one else makes any coin. lol i think i need to invest on some bigger machines to keep the coins rolling.

whats going on with the pool? seems stuck. haven't seen any coin in a few days. but still hashing away.
i reopened the pool in my browser and still the same. says difficulty 1, percent of expected shares is at 7.5 billion and net hash rate 0. is the pool down for maintenance again? seems every 2 or 3 weeks there's issues.
I wish when they bring down the pool they would send out emails or even notify everyone here.

I have bunch of this coin, how far about its development and dev response to issues ?

i see theres a few bug players now hashing away at this coin and cuts down coins for us small guys. so much greed too, now the coin is about dead price went way down. if people could just hold onto the coins for a bit might actually make alot more difference then making peanuts and sapping the energy out of the coin.
at this rate this coin will never break 100 sat.

You should try and wait for it to finish, or remove block files and let it synchronize from scratch.

Technically, there are none. LEA, beside being an extraordinarily beautiful name :) , is just another cryptocoin based on SHA256 algo.
You might benefit in the future, if we succeed in our intention to make the coin more popular and reach a decent value so the premine becomes worth enough to be offered to some children charity organizations.

It would be nothing to worry about, but too much pressure was on LeaCoin hash rate in a pool, and it forked.

The site Leacoin explorer ( https://explorer.leacoin.org/ ) says 'data sync in progress, please come back later'.

The blockchain is catching up already, few days and we're OK i think. If you're worried, it's better to politely ask the dev what was going on, maybe.
The worst thing one can do is panic.

The database is updating, however the issue with Cryptopia may be the fact that they have more coins than they should (somewhere north of 400M were listed for sale before they paused trading), when the total supply was around 385M. This would explain the relatively massive volumes since the 25th or so (forked coins were getting cashed out as soon as possible) as perhaps Cryptopia's wallet ended up on the forked chain (I'm not sure the details of how all this works). So even though the network may be fine after re-syncing, Cryptopia may need to do something more to sort it out. Your guess is as good as mine on what that would entail.

That said, the dev has always responded to me quickly when I send questions, so I've been impressed with that.

I used the Facebook link at the bottom of the Block Explorer, he also pops in here occasionally, maybe a direct message here would work as well.
