Looks like it started with a reward of 20 at block 1 and each block the reward goes down 0.01.

Block 322 - reward: 16.79
Block 323 - reward: 16.78

So look like at block 2000 the rewards will be zero.

Actually, Qubit isn't new, it's actually old but it never got popular.

But scrypt is the worst algo and oldest ever after sha-256.
If you remember in early 2014 a lot of programmers was trying to create new asic resistant algo as qubit-x11-x13-x15 etc etc to shutdown for ever scrypt to kill all asic farms (blade,gridseed etc etc).

This project remains me of Crave coin.

They forked old $CRAVE code.  Which is ok, if you guys make some unique tech that's cool.  Concept of this coin is cool, gfx are cool, specs are nice, for some reason reminds me of SYNC maybe.

But, you have couple of things to fix/clean up...

First is simple, you have the bug where it reindexes the address index completely every wallet start.  You have to change default of reindexaddr argument parsing in init.cpp from true to false, so that it only does it if user specifies -reindexaddr on command line.  For now workaround is put -reindexaddr=false and it won't do it.

Second, is you set the alert and checkpoint keys to "".  You need to generate keypairs and put the public key in there.  Otherwise, you cannot broadcast alert to network, and you cannot run checkpointing node.  You have PoS coin, need to run checkpointing from any node or your own wallet by putting the checkpointkey in your .conf and putting your private key there.

Otherwise over time you will have syncing problems and people going off on own forks.

To make keypairs, just open your wallet and use makekeypair command...easy! ;)

You could make wallet really cool if reskin to be like a HUD or panel from crysis or far cry :D  Anyway nethash already high on this one so maybe I wait for exchange to scoop up.

You are probably in trouble now,if you have a Backup of your private key you can try to Import it into a fresh wallet.

You don't backup your wallet data to a seperate location from roaming?

I had the same thing happen to me.
I fixed it by replacing the files I had originally deleted from roaming when I tried to resync.

Either way, there are a few things you can do.

Your best bet is do what ocminer suggested.
You can salvage your privikeys and try and create a new wallet.dat file from the corrupted .dat file with the -salvagewallet command.

Yeah you got bit by the coin control bug that Crave inherited from Blackcoin and that you guys inherited from us and some other coins like BitBean also have.  I'm working on a fix in $CRAVE for this to roll into our next update, once I have it figured out I'll let you guys know the fix.  For now I would avoid splitting lots of blocks at once in coin control.  Kind of a pain, but you have to do just one at a time and kind of let the wallet "settle". 

Only time I've encountered this issue is when I'm staking + splitting blocks using cc.

damn, think I lost about 133cry. Didn't backup after my latest transaction and my wallet got corrupted so I deleted it and put one of my old backups in the roaming folder. Any way to recover them using my backups that are older. I have a couple just no backup from todays transactions. When I sync up with my old backups the new transactions and some of the new addresses I generated don't show up so the coins don't.

Recover that corrupt wallet file from recycling.
You can do a hex dump if all else fails.

Try deleting everything in roaming/CRYcoin except for .conf/wallet.dat and try to sync from old wallet.dat.
If that fails pm me,

Edit: sounds like you need to try recovering from the corrupt wallet if you didn't backup after generating a new address with coins.

corrupt wallet is gone forever. All I have is my older backups.

edit: im going to try a few tools and see if I can get it back.

EDIT2: yeah corrupt wallet file is gone, just my older backups which don't have the lastest transactions.

It's the only chance you have at getting those addresses back. Always archive every wallet.dat never delete. Imo

The next step is to either buy a script or find one online or pay someone on bitcointalk that will crack your wallet.dat for you based on the things you write down in the previous step

When your wallet.dat got corrupted, did it make a new file? if so rename it to wallet.dat. or you can even try using the other wallet.dat backups you have
When you download the new wallet, to get those coins back put only the wallet.dat and let it sync from 0

I deleted the corrupted wallet.dat and also the file .bak file it made. I know stupid. I Was sleepy.  and ok thanks dev. Will try when you upload the new wallet. :-)

I would say if he's not back by a certain day, proceedings start to takeover the coin.  Last online Friday and today's Monday so I'd give some slack for that, but if a week or two more go on, then there's no reason not to take it over.  Brand new coin and so far has just left it.  It's got potential too.

CYBER was just a straight dump with its high POS rewards in the beginning.  Even after it's stopped (early I might add), price is still gradually going to 1 sat.

CYPHER was a straight up pump-n-dump by some twitter folk.  I can't speak to development as I haven't been following.

That leaves us with CRY - low coin count and not pumped by anyone yet.  Can't wait to see a roadmap for what this coin intends to do..

Well - the game of let's say nothing to devalue the coin to 1 satoshi is working pretty well.  Personally, I think the "spread FUD" game works better to get cheap coins.

Pretty close.  Seeing coins like crave, 8bit, and tron go sky high while dev here doesn't speak is awesome.  I'm growing a bit impatient and close to bailing unless we get a roadmap at minimum.

Yep.  Talked of a takeover.  Dev shows up to say, "be patient."  I could be patient if dev was here every day, but this is dumb.  No news, no update, no plan, no nothing.  Such a shame too because this could easily be similar to coven coin right now had it been played right.

Agreed, I gave up some time ago after PMing the dev offering to help some, and no response. Coven has the same rarity angle, and seemingly a much better dev. He responded to my PM and is active deving. Price is also super low right now.

Look - I get people have lives outside of crypto.  I get that things happen and people need time.  But this is crypto.  You don't start a coin and then leave for 3 weeks without saying a word.  The only time you come here and type is when we threaten a community takeover.  Quite honestly, it's bullshit.

Yeah this is crap.  Look dev, straight up.  If you don't have anything to deliver, then we're taking over the coin.  Plain and simple.  There is no reason to be this silent for this long.  It's time to put up or shut up.  If you say, "be patient" that's not good enough.  We've all been waiting for over a month for you to even tell us what the plan is and you can't even do that.  SO...bottom line.  We're taking over unless you deliver something soon.  By soon, I mean a few days to a week maximum.

Where do I download a working wallet\? i dowloaded from the ann page an stayed 3-4 days to upload blockchain and it is now at block 145182 and at c-cex the block is showing at 155549 and sent to test to my wallet and did not get the coins . Help.
