Title: Yemeni fighters attack Houthis as aid flights delayed
Post by: abyrnes81 on April 06, 2015, 05:15:49 PM
>> The fighting has killed hundreds of people, cut off water and electricity supplies and led the United Nations children's agency UNICEF to warn that Yemen is heading towards a humanitarian disaster.

Saudi Arabia, the main Sunni Arab power in the Gulf, launched the air campaign on March 26 to try to contain the Shi'ite Houthis and restore President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, who has fled Aden for refuge in Riyadh.

The International Committee of the Red Cross and UNICEF plan to fly aid planes into Yemen on Tuesday, but the missions have been delayed as they seek clearance from Arab states waging the air strikes and hunt for planes prepared to fly to Yemen.

when usa attacked iraq and iran and helped isreal to kill palestinians, did the world say : an addition to why christians and atheist hates people? ;)

the 9/11 and the war on iraq was pure bullshit.

the helping of israel is pure bullshit and the world and news have replied about that.

bringing gaddafi down was bullshit and cnn even agrees with that.

judging a religion based on the acts of its followers, i can do that too..

wait for my post then, i will personally invite you to it :D

It seems they want to resolve this situation:

Turkey and Pakistan, two of the biggest military powers in the Muslim world, have launched a diplomatic initiative in an effort to prevent the conflict in Yemen from exploding into a regional one.
....
That meeting is being followed by a flurry of diplomatic get-togethers: a visit to Ankara Monday for consultations by the Saudi deputy crown prince and interior minister, Mohammed bin Nayef; a visit by Turkey’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to Tehran on Tuesday, where he’ll meeting with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei; and a visit Wednesday by Iran’s foreign minister, Javad Zarif, to Islamabad. Later in the week, the Turkish foreign minister is expected in Islamabad.

Most of what you say here is pure truth.

The big bankers of the world - the people who are not Christian or atheist, but rather are money worshipers - are attempting to conquer the whole Middle East in such a way that they bolster the petrodollar, so they can remain in control of the whole world through the use of money.

These bankers are not Christian. They are not Muslim. They are not Jewish. If they are atheist, it doesn't cross their mind. What they are is greedy lovers of money. Nobody in the whole world is safe from them.

The conflict in Yemen will spread to other parts of the Middle East. There is no doubt about that. The Iranians will definitely retaliate against what they see as an unprovoked attack on the Shiites by the Sunni Saudi military force.

We can start to think about a World war III? This is really sad, we don't need another war I know that Aristotle has said "we make war that we may live in peace":

Human societies have waged war against each other for centuries upon centuries. Wars can involve both entire nations and individual tribes which can shift the balance of power. The victor gains the spoils and, as some have put it, writes the history books. Aristotle asserts that the purpose of war is so that human societies can enjoy peace; that boundaries can be established so that society may be well-ordered. War can involve physical confrontation, but in a broader sense, it means establishing the limits of tolerance and responding when those limits are breached.

We already had a very long period of peace and mankind can't just exist in peace. We've proven that over the centuries - there has to be war so people can respect peace and try to keep it.
I don't think we'll see another world war in the following years, but it's definitely coming sooner or later.

I think two worldwilde wars can teach that the "war" doesn't resolve any type of problem.

The difference between all the previous wars and WWIII is the armament. We now have weapons capable of completely destroying the planet and we know it, so if the war starts it will probably be the last. Keep calm and prepare for the Fallout scenario.

So it seems if it will start a third world wide war it will be the last "war" because as you said, we have nuclear weapons and other sophisticated type of weapon.

I don't think we'll see another world war in the following years, but it's definitely coming sooner or later.

I hope we will never come to "this war". It will be an huge catastrophe, and the people will never learn that the war is not the real solution.

Another news from aljazeera:

The US defence secretary says al-Qaeda has "seized the opportunity" in Yemen amid reports that fighters from the group had stormed a border post near Saudi Arabia. Speaking during a visit to Japan on Wednesday, Ashton Carter said both the Houthis and Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) were taking advantage of disorder following the collapse of Yemen's central government.

Referring to AQAP activity in Yemen, Reuters news agency quoted him as saying: "We see them making direct gains on the ground there as they try to take territory, seize territory in these battle lines ...we are observing that".

Here comes the biggest comedy of the decade:

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/apr/07/somalia-aids-saudi-led-fight-against-houthis-yemen

The Somalis can't properly take care of their own people and millions of them live as refugees in the EU and USA. Now they want to bomb another country to rubble.

Another little update (from reuters) to the Yemen situation:

Houthi forces fought battles street by street with local militia in the old center of Aden on Wednesday, as the first boatloads of emergency medical aid arrived to the south Yemeni port city which aid workers say faces a humanitarian catastrophe.
....
"It's nearly catastrophic," said the International Committee of the Red Cross spokeswoman in Yemen, Marie Claire Feghali. "Shops are closed, so people cannot get food, they cannot get water. There are still dead bodies in the street. Hospitals are extremely exhausted."

http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/04/08/us-yemen-security-idUSKBN0MY1TL20150408

It seem Iran start to "talking"  | Iran, which denies arming the Houthis, has condemned the Saudi-led offensive. It sent two warships to the Gulf of Aden on Wednesday, saying they would protect Iranian shipping. |

If you think there are a lot of conspiracies here, it's epic in the Mid-East. According to Houthi (the founder) 9/11 was Al-Qaeda and the CIA trying to persecute him specifically.

Yeah, that makes sense.  ::)

Despite all the air strikes by Saudi Arabia, the Shiites are marching forward at a rapid pace, and are likely to take the whole of Aden by the end of this month. The government forces are not even putting up a fight. They are just fleeing and joining ISIS.

Yeah, that makes sense.  ::)

I don't think there are a lot of conspiracies here, everyone have his own mind to judge the history event and the contemporaneous events. I think a few years and it will start a new worldwide war.

You must be reasonable then. There are reasonable people also.  :)

But if your living there you must see some of the crazy ideas that get thrown around. I hope your wrong about a new world war, but I fear your correct. Ousting Saddam pulled the pin on the hand grenade in the region. I think we will be at war for decades still.

Anyway, where are you in the mid-east? I love the Islamic world and try to get there every year. Despite the news, the people there are some of the kindest I have met abroad.

The fighting has now shifted to Central Aden. Most of the Aden metropolitan region is controlled by the Houthis, despite desperate bombardment by the Saudi Air Force. The so called “Operation Decisive Storm” has become completely toothless.  ;D

Bad news  :-\:

A crying girl whose family was burned alive and killed in airstrikes, a wounded man who believes that a quick death is better than his suffering now, and others, grieving, desperate and injured. These scenes are what RT saw visiting a hospital in Yemen.

The Saudi sheikhs are digging their own graves. Hundreds of innocent Yemeni civilians have been killed and thousands of others maimed and made homeless by the reckless air strikes. Retaliation is natural, and when it comes, nothing will save Saudi Arabia. Their petro-dollars will not help them, and their masters (NATO) are going to ignore them as well.

Here is the latest map:

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/2/2e/Yemen_war_detailed_map.png/800px-Yemen_war_detailed_map.png

As you can see, most of the densely populated areas are under the control of the Shiites (in light green). The ISIS / Al Qaeda is confined to some remote mountainous regions, while the government troops have withdrawn to the sparsely populated region of Hadramawt.
