Title: Currency Exchange: Notes and Discussion
Post by: mizerydearia on September 11, 2010, 01:12:02 AM
Here are some notes I've gathered regarding currency exchange:

AlertPay: see also (http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=958.0)
not a scam (http://www.scam.com/showthread.php?p=59370#post59370), still not a scam (http://www.ripoffreport.com/Home-based-business/Alertpay-Inc/alertpay-inc-alertpay-is-a-sca-4p8bb.htm)
The Pirate Bay's IPREDator VPN service uses AlertPay.

OmniPay are based in Melbourne, Florida, United States, but are seeking to move their operation to West Africa
i wonder why.
OmniPay transition (http://www.omnipay.com/opa2007.asp) -> e-gold website statement (http://blog.e-gold.com/2008/07/a-new-beginning.html)
Is there potential for OmniPay's services to be used/established with Bitcoin-related services/projects?

Has anyone tried Coinffeine? This seems to be the best option right now, Bitsquare is coming along as well.
