Title: what about this trading strategy Bitcoin
Post by: egybitco on April 12, 2015, 03:57:43 PM
It is arbitrage buying cheap from BTC-E with Fiat using OKpay or PerfectMoney and sell @ high price selling platform (which also accepts OKpay or PerfectMoney for withdrawing Fiat)
witch until now did not find a trusted platform only {indacoin} withdrawing to Payza fees withdrawing inda+funding payza=6.5% it is high but at the end you will make a profit
questions
which platform high price selling trust and accepts OKpay or PerfectMoney for withdrawing Fiat ???
how long it takes withdrawing fiat to OKpay or PerfectMoney so i can make the same circle more than once a day or not?
am i dreaming ::)
Thank you

Yes, you are dreaming. At least at present. Fees
and turnaround time make this a losing proposition.
At one point last month you could pull this between
BitYes (buying BTC) and Coinbase (selling BTC).
That was because of low fees -- both Coinbase
and Bityes were running zero fees for makers.
Turnaround time was more or less one day with
Coinbase consistently at a $2 premium to Bityes.

However this relied on using Astropay to get
USD quickly back to Bityes from Coinbase with
zero fees. Now Bityes has reinstituted maker
fees, suspended Astropay deposits, and the
average premium as fallen to ~$1.

You are not dreaming as this scenario is entirely possible, I did this exact arbitrage technique between BTC-e and Virtex using Perfect Money, OkPay and Payza. However, Virtex disappeared with my money. I have also performed this circular strategy between BTC-e and VirWox with my Credit Card. At the end of the day, the real question is if it is worth the time and effort as the differences in prices between exchanges are very small plus the deposit and withdrawal fees are high enough to take most of your profit.

there are platforms that can make this easy http://bitcoinpricelab.com/, you won't earn much, but it is doable

note that this site isn't complete, many exchange are missed

this is not going to profitable, at last we get frustrated and start selling with whatever we have, so I prefer, you buy it from low priced exchanger and hold it for some days, if it goes below, then average it, you can sell it when the price go up, nothing to worry....
