Title: Bitcoin can no longer continue safely and will quit Post by: pekv2 on August 25, 2012, 10:58:17 AM I am getting this on WIn7 x64 with my Bitcoin client. Latest bitcoin client.

What would cause this issue? ETC.....

ETC..... I did supply os. Nothing was running, was a fresh bootup. Was doing nothing when it happened. Happened today. Thanks. The database unfortunately seems to be fragile. Backup the data directory (just in case), then delete everything except wallet.dat, and start over (or you could try selectively deleting the smallest files first). I had deleted everything except for my wallet and the three block files. Works as brand new.
