don't mean to be a downer but this coin only generates 4,800 coins in a day and with a value of .0001 sat that's $108 for everyone to divide up.

right now there's 16 GH/s on the coin so with 100 MH/s that addsup to a whopping 67.5 cents in one day for your trouble.

100 mh/s elsewhere will get you $5/day - I could see this kind of enthusiasm for a coin that had not been pre-mined but the coins devs have a ton of coins out there for sale.

DEV doesn't have any coins, it was a ICO, he only has BTCs.

Yes the difficulty is WAY TOO HIGH at the moment for mining. Not enough X11 rigs. Should of made it scrypt or SHA256

Your coin is going to freeze if too many people stop staking at the same time. 7 days min stake time is too long for a POS only coin, if your POS diff goes too high then you might have to wait 7 days to break the stuck chain and continue staking. Change it asap and push a fix... good luck :)  also.. support miners instead of ICO if you care about crypto.

UPDATE APRIL 22ND:


We have decided to start with the betting site as the first of our big releases.  This is being worked on now, and a frontend will be available for us 'leak' shortly, within 2 days or so.  This roadmap covers only the major releases, but there will be constant activity over the next few days.  We'd like to thank the miners, who have a lot of faith in this coin, the cost of mining is a lot higher than simply purchasing off the market so that is definitely a good sign.  

There is also a lot of basic stuff that wouldn't fit on the roadmap, so we decided to make a smaller todo list:

• Block explorer will be out within a day
• Nomp based multipool will be ready for PoW end
• Masternodes are being developed to allow escrow for 'side betting' on the casino and sports site
• Placeholder website should be out shortly
• Mixer nodes are being tested for implementation into casino site, might add this functionality to masternodes.
• Updated wallet with masternode and mixer node placeholder tabs soon, some cosmetic updates.

Please keep in mind this list will grow and shrink as the days go by.  We would like to get a lot of this stuff done before the betting site goes live.





This is actually good advice.  For all of you who don't know Cryptowest, he is the Positron developer and one of the leading 'brand' names in the cryptosphere.  What he's saying here is that because you have to wait 7 days for your coins to even have a chance to stake, if too many people stop staking, the entire coin could halt because the network PoS difficulty will be too high for smaller stake holders to generate blocks.  

Our response is that the long pow period should give ample time for wallets to build up age, and we plan on making the masternodes hold enough coins that they will always be staking.  If this truly becomes a problem, we will fork the code as a last resort.  As for supporting miners, we left a significant portion of the coins for the pow phase, and that is really working for us.  We think that having coins in as many wallets as possible is healthy for the network.

it is essentially a 70% premined coin.

Totally wrong men, i know of several group of people that bought coins that has nothing to do with this owner of the coin. if you would know which people that bought.... there was one guy on twitter with a 10 BTC buy!!! A real existing whale person, so that was already a true investor, and there are many true investors.

Indeed!!! If i see some active buying at around 13 - 14k then it is a sign to get in. If no active buying is happening at those prices then it is still time to get in. 13 - 14k sats are key targets.

This is very interesting so when the casinos are built some of the earnings will go to support the price of the coin? I just want to know so I have more due diligence before I throw some btc in to buy up some for our assets.  :)

I think the devs bought the ICO and now will try to talk up their coin and show you how great it is without actually delivering anything.  That way, they'll be able to dump the ICO coins they bought onto you.  Again, I'm not 100% certain, but it just seems like another ICO scam.

Remember, they couldn't get professionals to build this for 70 BTC and if they built a platform without any BTC beforehand, they would have gotten WAY more BTC from an ICO.

Also, I'm not sure if there have been any ICOs on C-cex that weren't scams.

I was a little surprised to see cryptsy list an ICO scam coin hosted on c-cex. #altsareback is killing crypto for good this time.

How many coins total? In the ann I saw PW, POS, 700,000 for the ICO and then a post that said dev has no coins... WTF is going on here lol

They added XAU, another ICO scam hosted on C-cex, along with 007.  Maybe they got paid a lot?


The 700,000 were supposedly sold on C-cex within an hour of being listed, but it's more likely that dev snatched up the vast majority to create the illusion of interest.

Someone is trying hard to keep the price up on cex,lot of dumping been going on over the past hour,i get a feeling the price is being manipulated as not much buying support on crypsy,hmm weird one

Just some guys taking profit form the ICO, it's better to leave them and let them do it now because it would cause a lot of harm when we climb in price.

This is a question we were hoping someone would ask.  After the Proof-of-Work period, we'll enter into an inflationary phase that involves Proof-of-Stake.  At this time we hope to have revenue coming in, and plan to 'match' whatever inflation is created with profits from the websites in the form of buy orders.  This means if the market requires .3BTC to match the inflation, and we have made that much from the sites, we'll have some form of API integration that just places the buy order.  Users will be able to see this on the main website.  We're not promising huge buy walls, and the websites have to be producing enough revenue to support their hosting fees first, but it's in the plans.  

One thing to remember is operating sites like these really can't be done off a string of VPS cloud accounts.  The money brought in from the pre-sale will be used to purchase servers and pay for hosting.  Developers have to be paid, and there is marketing to be done, so when it's all tallied up there is not a lot of cash here once we start talking about making it last for months.  We do plan to get a profitable business out of this in the end.

This will also work well with the 'side betting' escrow nodes we plan to implement.  If no one claims these, we can use the revenue from them for sure.  They will cost very little to operate and maintain, so there will be more news about this in the days to come.

Right now we're getting the block explorer done up, and plan to get the 'leaks' of the website for tonight's update.

I was very active on Cryptsy chat and asked all the admins why did they add scam coin? 1 day IPO coin, created by user with 0 history just 1 day after the coin was created. Those admins were very unhappy about my questions and many other users joined me. We should create pressure on cryptsy to stop this. This is insane, they are losing all the trust they had. Such a greed is killing crypto. They are selling their long term business for short time profit. How they want to survive, if they are adding scam coins all the time? I would love to throw more money into crypto, but I don't trust cryptsy any more. They are losing lot of visitors and money because of their shady listings. Trust is the only real value behind an exchange. In fact, I am gonna withdraw as much as I can from cryptsy. Such behavior will sooner or later end up with bankruptcy.

007 ICO is complete, the buy wall has come down and normal trading has commenced. PoW will be over shortly, and PoS will take over the blockchain in a matter of days. We want to release our vision of how investors will be rewarded as we migrate into a Crypto startup.

First off, in the spirit of our casino theme, we'd like to introduce our High Stakes Hold'em phase. This may come as a surprise, but we will fork the code base in the next couple days, allowing investors to stake a rate much higher than originally promised. We will be in touch with C-Cex to make sure this goes seamlessly, no coin swaps will be required, it's just a modification to the code. The only thing you have to do is start building coin age and migrate to the new wallet when it is available. We plan to do this very soon, before we release our masternodes.

Second thing on the list is escrow nodes. We plan to offer a side betting portion to the sports betting site, where people can bet on games currently in progress. We plan on having a few live feeds go through the main page, be it poker tournaments or horse races, anything that can be streamed you can bet on. In order to do this, there will be an area where users will have a short amount of time to set up bets. The max bet will be the amount of coins required to run an escrow node, which we will reveal shortly. Once the bets are placed, the site will hold the users coins in escrow, and communicate with the masternodes. What makes this unique is that the site will not be centralized, it will only take a 'rake' from the bets, and be paid by the masternodes. The nodes themselves will take a percentage of the action, along with any blocks they stake along the way. Everything above and beyond the cost of running the masternode will be sent to whatever address the owner specifies. At this time, the site plans to take a .75% rake while the masternodes get 1.25%.


For the casino, people watching others play blackjack or poker in the standard games section can bet the outcome of the game. The casino plans to operate completely free of a centralized wallet, all bets will go through these nodes, so the revenue potential here is huge.

The decentralized exchange will require an adjustment to the masternodes, they will start to require more collateral if they wish to allow for bigger trades. For this to work, the masternodes will have to specify which coins they plan to host and install those wallets on a Linux server. The masternode will then control these wallets, and keep a portion of the action. The only issue here is security, and it is best to offer only established currencies that have the RPC commands set up in a way that the masternodes can communicate with. Certain new coins may not work, and others may operate at the masternode owner's risk. When initiating a trade, you will enter your 007 address before sending the coin of your choice. If the masternode fails to complete the transaction, the 007 coins get sent to the trader.

All of this will be turned into a business plan document, available shortly.

Not only you but many others are leaving cryptsy because of adding scam coins all the time. I would love to hold and invest more money into crypto, but the main reason alt coins are dying is, that the biggest exchange lost trust by listing scams. Cryptsy could be a really nice long term business with billion $ value in few years. They just decided to earn few hundreds thousands of $ with scams. They still don't understand how important is to make users happy. Only happy customers will load more and more money again and again. It is much easier to monetize existing users which are happy, than to get new users and trick them with scams.

Bittrex's current success is because they are adding coins almost right away. It is the way to keep volume up these days and you can't blame them for nothing. Cryptsy had pretty old policies about listing coins and they are still keeping a lot of dead coins. It seems that they are now changing this policy. About XPY... well... all I can say is:

I hope all potential future employers continue to watch your actions. Cryptsy already publicly said they will add more new coins, faster. They need income, and new coins is where that income is. It makes no sense to blame Cryptsy for this coins price or failure to deliver features.  The exchanges are just there as a tool for trading coins safely.  If you thought being listed on an exchange was an endorsement from the exchange then you made that up in your head.

This is not the case and you know it. While it is normal developers of coins with ICO's on C-Cex to disappear shortly after they finish, it is not normal such coins to be listed so fast on Cryptsy. I know that they recently changed their policy about listing coins, but this is not only because of money. If 007 had some big fat volume - I can understand that, but this was not the case either.

It is actually quite common.  You are just upset and it must be clouding your perception. I'm not going to make a list of awful coins but look through the list of coins that are traded on cryptsy and then tell me if you honestly feel the same.  I mean ffs they still trade ripoffcoin, and that isn't a a bad thing, but it should help you realize that this is not a new phenomenon.  anyway, sorry for your loss, I am not trying to defend cryptsy, I was just trying to point out that being listed there is in no way an endorsement and therefore blaming them is from my point of view makes no sense.

You are right that I am upset, but it is not because my investment (which is about 0.2 BTC - realized that it will be better to buy than mine), it is because of the many scams and other people as well. Never probably. TBH I dont know what all the hype about poker is. It is an economy that is on a downtrend since around 2008. Many sites are struggling or have merged. If you dont play NLH as your main game you pretty much have one site only with decent enough traffic if you want to leave microstakes (stars).

We have a bitcoin poker site already since 3 years or so, traffic was more or less laughable. Why on earth would this site - if it ever launched - have more success. No one could seriously play on an anonymous poker site anyway as - unless I miss something - there would be no way to prevent multiaccounting or collusion which totally kills the game if you are not playing for pennies.

Pangea Poker. I should probably read about this a bit more (and I will), but I can guarantee you that 99% of poker players will not give a f if it is decentralised or not. It is about rake, security and traffic. Heck, I am happily paying taxes on my winnings if I can play legally and I dont have to worry about my money getting lost over night (I am talking about more than 20k USD, so security is a biiiig concern for me).

The concept of ICO is not bad, look what happened with bT (no premine, no ICO), i mean if dev is a scammer, then it can be whatever you want, they will scam you always. Perfect example was the BT lucky hidden blocks, there should only be 24M coins and it now they are almost 50M coins, so this so called no premine/ no ico coin was a scam of BT dev for i don't know, maybe 40 - 50 BTC.

The C-CEX ICO are not bad, why? you can buy your ICO coins, and dump it in the same week, and you can play on the pump. I bought 007 for a nice amount of coins during ICO and i made 40% profit, so for me this coin was not a bad investment, but it is like a lot of the times in crypto world, a lot of coins are scam or if they are not scam then they never hit a exchange, think of it. Why is it scam? Is it DEV that is scam? Or maybe you need to think of a group of people with a lot of BTC that just launch coins every 5 mins and then create a massive pump and dump everything.

This was predictable. The dev made a good business and disappeared with the funds. It is the common scheme of the most new ICO coins. Sad developement in my eyes  :-[

Just because we have scams that are no ICOs, doesnt mean ICOs are any good, thats just relativization. ICOs in fact have made the situation far worse. Last summer or so people were not accepting coins with a bigger premine than 2% or so, now we have premines in unknown height via self-buys and buys from friends/grandmother and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. I would bet that at least 90% of all ICOs had devs buying into their own coin, some were even naive enough to admit it later. Heck, they didnt even see why they did something wrong (completely illegal in any regulated market).

Of course if a "dev" wants to scam he has many ways (hidden blocks etc), he doesnt need an ICO, but ICOs have made it far far worse and much easier for those "devs". The idea is good, it is just not working in unregulated markets like crypto.

I know that you know how to play those ICO coins. I have myself bought in so many of those and came out with a profit most of the time and will probably continue to do so. It still sucks and I know that makes me a hypocrite pretty much. I like money.

EMC2 has some kind of mining tax. That way you could have constant funding without a premine up front or an ICO that makes scamming super easy. For some odd reason no other coin has that concept, wonder why (works with POW only oc)?

The reason I chose to list 007 coin was the terms of the ICO.

The ICO funds were to be placed as buy orders so anyone can exit their position at the ICO price for 2 weeks.

I didnt see how buying up the ICO could benefit the developer. Ill do better due diligence next time

Honestly, i don't think Cryptsy can be blamed here...If you check how many DEVs leave their coin. Cryptsy took the right steps in my eyes, as 007 really had some interesting feautures planned and was trading pretty heavily. When a ICO is sold in 48 mins, then i would also add it to my exchange, honestly.

Of course they can be blamed. Cryptsy was exchange on which it was pretty difficult to be listed. In my eyes, the coin was somehow legit just because they listed it. I though that "the dev" proved something to them. Don't really know how much BTC were gathered and I think that the volume wasn't that great to attract attention of bigger exchanges. They can't be blamed for listing coins with big volume, because they exist because of that - volume, but imho this is not the case here.

P.S. placebo, you are cancer to cryptocurrencies. All you care is make an ICO, take % of it, sell at profit and move to another. Don't know in how many ICO's you were involved, but I think that 100% of them are either scam or completely disaster. While I find normal people to gather funds for developing (yes, I can understand ICO's and somehow approve them.. nobody is working for free), I don't like you attitude.

After this my standards have been raised again. We will work on regaining that trust

It comes down to investor / trade due diligence - exchanges are not places of enforcement.

We already covered that and it's obvious, but sometimes given actions can hurt cryptocurrencies in general and this is my biggest concern. No need for more discussions.
