Nice campaign. However, I think many people value their avatars more than the prices you have listed. I guess that now avatars have been enabled they're not so special anymore. Nonetheless, the prices should depend on the user status but at higher prices than you have listed.
That being said, there is no market price for these yet so I guess you can offer what you like and see what happens.

I see the rules and avatars are changed. So now it's fixed extra payment depending on if you do 50, 100 or 150 (or 175 if legendary and staff) and not a 10% bonus based on your total postcount if I got it right.

Actually, I accidentally set the pay rates to be higher that I intended it. Do the math, you will see the difference. ;)
As of now, 0.04/50=0.0008 per post, which is almost equal to the rate of signature  :o
But, I think it will do, since the pesobang rates, which is probably where the error came from, is kind of around the current rates.. and the rates are totally subjecctive..

Er.. I just re-checked everything and found a huge error in which the rates was set. :(  :-\

Would it be okay for you to set a rate of 0.0004BTC (which is still a very good rate. around 50% of the signature rate for a full member) for 50 posts and additional 0.01BTC for every 50 posts till 150 posts??

I understand that the error was on my part. When I accidentally took the rates of an unsaved draft instead of the latest one.. Would you mind changing the rates? Do anyone object to the new rates?

So how is this going to work then? Im really bad at math.

Let's see, I thought the avatar campaign was exactly the same as signature campaign, just with a bonus, but from what I understand now, you get paid monthly and not weekly? can you state how much you make per post then? I thought It was a bonus, like if you make 150 post at Full Member, you would normally get 0.0009x150=0.135, but with the extra 0.08 you would end up with a decent 0.215 which seems tolerable compared to the peanuts the other campaigns are paying for such amount of posting (specially at today's very low BTC price). Is this correct?

Let me know what the final method will be to keep track of it because im just bad at maths.

Ok, currently you make say 50 posts a month you get 0.02BTC, which is 0.0004BTC/post (that is a 44.44% approx. bonus on your (full member's) sig rate)
If you make 100 posts a month, you get 0.03, which totals to 0.0003BTC/post (33.33% bonus)
and for 150, 0.04.

The rates are better than the old one, 10% bonus. But is just capped at 150 posts for the time being, and 30 participants. (Don't want to hijack the forum ;D)

I think there is no reserving here. I dont see in OP about reserving but from the signature campaign, I can see that if you are constructive poster and consistent in your post then you will always be included on the next term. Reserving now is useless if they dont include you for next term

I've seen some people reserving spots on the main thread.
And yes, you need to re-enroll for the avatar campaing, but not for the normal campaing, for some reason.
I would prefer not having to re-enroll each months. It creates a great deal of stress, consistence is everything.
There's always someone that leaves somewhere else, or people that fuck it up by shitposting 50 times a day. Those free spots are the ones that should be given the new people.

It doesnt matter if 100 people is reserving the spots because all you need to do is based your action on OP. In OP there is no written rules that you need to re-enroll or something like that or you can ask ndnhc for more clarification on this

So when does the new avatar term start? are people getting paid? I think you guys should fix this asap specially before people gets tired of wearing an avatar indefinitely of a brand that isn't paying them to do so, and they may move onto other campaings.

I agree with the other post that asked: it wouldn't it be better if we could keep the spot and those that post a ton of shitty messages a day get removed? this way you could naturally have a good selection of consistent, non spammy posters, and avoid the flood of people trying to get enrolled each month.

You don't have to wear the avatar if you are on the waiting list. However, you may choose to wear it, since the enrollment gets automatically accepted if you are wearing it, and the post will start counting once you are accepted from the time you wear the avatar.

Hey ndnhc how come the avatar payment is so small for like a whole month but the sig campaign I can earn 0.13 bitcoin a week by doing 100 constructive posts a week, that's like 0.52 bitcoin a month but only 0.04 bitcoin a month for our avatars?
I'm not moaning because I'm in both campaigns so get the best of both but why is the avatar not seen as worth anywhere near as much? 
If anything I notice peoples avatars before their sigs, I'm just curious, no offence intended to anybody.

The pay rate is set after finding an approximate value of an Avatar. It is less mostly because you cannot click an Avatar. Also, our main priority is currently the signature campaign. Besides, you only need 50 (to 150) posts to qualify for an avatar payment. It is comparable to fixed rate campaign and less to a pay per post one. ;)

There won't be loading shown for names, but only for post counts, current or made and avatar images. I have no idea why this is happening more often lately, to be honest. But I think if you take the spreadsheet, both will be updated for a few minutes.

Transactions haven't come through to my Bitcoin Core wallet yet (not showing up).
Blockchain.info block explorer shows the wallet balance as if it's there though.

There is a huge stress test going on now and there are alot of unconfirmed transaction for now . Maybe that could be the reason that your bitcoin core doesnt show the transaction because of this. I cant tell because I am not on the campaign but from the transaction id it seems no one yet because the transaction is still unconfirmed. I have a transaction to an exchanger since 3 hours ago and it is still unconfirmed right now. You should read the last page of the thread I linked.

There is a graph that shows the average fee for now is 40-60k satoshi and if you are waiting for your avatar payment it will be longer because it has medium priority

This is no good is it, imagine if you were trying to set up a business deal or contract. The people dealing with you wouldn't be best pleased.

To clarify, the bonus won the vote over lottery, and the bonus has already been paid. Do check the spreadsheet for more info. :)
Bonus has been divided among all active participants in the corresponding ratio and not just to the top few. We gotta test every kind of bonus, lol ;)


The avatar tx got delayed because two transactions were sent simultaneously so that the funds for the second tx, the avatar one was spent for a couple of hours. It wasn't because of inadequate fees or anything. It is quite natural to happen. :)
There is no way the transaction will be erased from bc or get delayed for more than a day just because of this reason. The fees were the standard one, and the amount was high enough to get confirmed within a few blocks.
31 confirmations now.

I can confirm I've received my payment now. I think it was that stupid stress test that slowed everything down. My payment was showing as received on all block explorers but my Core client didn't show the balance, not even as pending or unconfirmed.
Weird, I've never experienced anything like that, it was that spammy stress test though, I checked on bc.info & there were 11,000 unconfirmed transactions.
