Title: Re: A new crypto Post by: whap on April 24, 2015, 11:12:42 PM what's the intention behind the coin? will it be a copy of an existing coin or do you have plans for a revolutionary new coin technology? if not, again, what's the purpose on spending lifetime and ressources on it when there are already 500 (mostly) open-source projects you could hypothetically contribute to? don't get me wrong, but cryptocurrencies don't need a new coin, at least not now. :)

If you then decide you want to go further, you could build a stand alone wallet running ontop of the Nxt NRS i would imagine ;) So yeah, thats the way to start I suppose.
