Title: bitcoin-power.com
Post by: Prelude on April 29, 2015, 04:19:13 PM
Beware, this is a scammer's forum. I signed up to see if a user selling an SP35 for a price way too good to be true would use a real escrow, such as OgNasty or others. Of course, as expected, they won't. They will only deal with "someone" they "trust", which happens to be the admin of the forum "Admin Kelly". This all went down VIA PM. Once the obvious scam was confirmed, user "Minersales" was swiftly told to fuck off and I posted a polite warning in his thread, fully expecting it to be deleted within seconds and my account to be banned just as quickly. I wish predicting the furtur was always this easy!  :o

I highly suspect the entire scam of a forum is being run by "Admin Kelly", and he/she is the only one "selling" anything under various user names. Of course, he/she is the only acceptable escrow to be used on that scam of a forum!

Beware! Hopefully this saves at least 1 person from getting scammed over there.

"Ban reason: talking shit" lol.

You are right, you should only use an escrow whose level of trust you can verify and that you can reasonably conclude is real. Otherwise you are going to get scammed.

I suspect that many forums try to run scams where the owner of the forum has alt accounts and uses himself as escrow only to run away with your money.

New accounts keep making new threads just with a link to that site, I saw one earlier looks like it's been deleted now.

Fucking shitbag scammers everywhere but in all honesty I don't think anyone will fall for this its so lame.

The OP apparently fell for it. It is interesting how spam bots are linking to a scam forum. I always thought they were for SEO for spammy sites.

Just because a forum is there does not mean you need to post on it...

Ignore it - it looks like it's run by some immature kid.

What a reason is that? "Talking shit"?! :o Weird and unprofessional. Obvious scammy site.

P.S. Why don't you PM admin to become a staff and put a mod note or something in his/her thread? ;)

I am the real scott davie  :)

One of your many personalities, maybe.  You're the kind of person that would prostitute his own children.  Nothing here surprises me anymore.

Ah, so you're not from the UK yet you use words that are more popular in the UK such as "bloody" and "dweeb". Hmm.... :D

Forum where your freedom of speech and opinion is denied by a ban is not something you should be a part of, let alone do business there.
U were smart enough to ask for a trusted escrow, but i doubt there wont be victims there.
For now it's just an insinuation, since you cant provide proof of scam, but all the signs are there.

*Note how even the "Marketplace" is even spelled wrong (market place), what a professional for um.

cheers
