Leaked documents obtained by this newspaper expose the true scale of the “social cleansing” taking place across the capital as a result of welfare cuts and soaring rents. This also shows that UK's economic growth is currently dropping and may stay that way for a bit longer.

What is the government supposed to do about that? Blight the city to keep rent low? Pay businesses to go elsewhere so that the slums can be maintained? Maybe a Detroit model of governance?

London is fast becoming the no.1 refuge for members of various mafias, including the Russian mafia and various Italian cartels. These people are buying up all the available residential prices at a premium, forcing the natives to move out of the city. London's reputation as the money laundering capital of the world is fueling all this.
