Bitfortip offers a unique use case thanks to Bitcoin.


Use Bitfortip to:

Find a item (i.e. a dress ) that you saw on a magazine,website, Pinterest or Instagram and you don't know where to buy it online. You can upload it as photo using your smartphone and ask bitfortip members to search it online for you in order to win the bitcoin reward.

Find a better price for an item that you want. Offer a small Bitcoin reward for members to search for you online.

Find a piece of information on the internet that you can't find on your own. Post an inquiry along with a bitcoin reward for people to find you a certain link, image, e.t.c.

When you sign up, a unique bitcoin address is generated in your account. There it shows you the following message: Before you can submit an inquiry you need to fund your account with at least with 0.0001 Bitcoin to give as a reward. After you fund your account, you can post an inquiry with a bitcoin reward of your choice.

If you are out of Bitcoins there is a buy button on the app that offers you the choice to acquire some through Paxful. A peer to peer marketplace.



Bitcoin allows to make micropayments to people and in return received replies with better price deals that save money to the inquirer.  That couldn’t be done with a traditional banking service.

Bitfortip can prove to be a great experience that uses an attractive currency to receive an equally attractive service.

The website is very new and few users are actually registered. If this website gets a good amount of visitors, it will have great potential.

No. To put an inquiry/question to the website you need to fund your account with Bitcoin in order to link it with a bitcoin reward of your choice.

It can be as little as 0.0001 btc with no limit to how much you want to reward someone to find you an information that you are looking for. 

You get rewarded in Bitcoin if your answer is chosen as correct by the member that putted the question/inquiry.

Interesting concept and site, reminds me somewhat of Experts Exchange. I'm stuck on the same question as 98789. I don't know you from anywhere or any past projects you've done. My concerns would be:

1. Giving a correct answer, not getting it selected and therefore not getting paid...as 98789 mentioned.
2. Where are the funds escrowed and who controls them ultimately?
3. Can a release of escrow be forced after manual review?
4. Nothing against you, what's to stop staff from just running away with the funds should they become significant if the site grows and gains enough members that post questions?

1. The member that posted the inquiry decides to whom to give the reward. It stays there until someone is selected. It all comes down to the honesty of the members.
2. The website itself
3. No, only the member that posted the inquiry can release the reward.
4. There is no staff.

I am sure that you will agree that not everyone can be 100% satisfied of how a particular service works as everyone has his own opinions and how it could become better e.t.c. Some people would agree some others wouldn't.

Personally i think that this is the best way and its pretty straight forward.

I don't think $0.05 is enough since it's not just an answer, it's research too and then you still need to send links. Also the person with the best and/or cheapest price wins the bonus, it's not a sure thing since only one person wins it per question. I wonder how many people will respond per question.

Use case examples for people that don't know the service.


Find a item (i.e. a dress ) that you saw on a magazine,website, Pinterest or Instagram and you don't know where to buy it online. You can upload it as photo using your smartphone and ask bitfortip members to search it online for you in order to win the bitcoin reward.

Find a better price for an item that you want. Offer a small Bitcoin reward for members to search for you online.

Find a piece of information on the internet that you can't find on your own. Post an inquiry along with a bitcoin reward for people to find you a certain link, image, e.t.c.

Wow this idea is truly innovative. It would be fun for those who serve delight from surfing the web,  at least they would now be paid in bitcoins!! The amount of bitcoin one can one can receive from helping others would be truly unlimited. I'd try it.

Bitfortip won and will be participating on the  BLOCKCHAIN CRUISE  (https://coinsbank.com/cruise-europe?utm_source=coinsbank&utm_medium=banner&utm_campaign=header_banner&utm_content=index#section-event-agenda) as a BItcoin startup.

There will be an exhibition zone on 3 decks aboard the cruise and will function as a marketplace where companies can present their projects and ideas to meet with partners, customers, and investors in person.

It is estimated that 2500+ attendees will be there along with 150+ media representatives from 55+countries.

It is going to be a nice opportunity for the platform.

Just want to congratulate you on doing some great work on advertising and marketing of your site. I think a lot of people neglect that part of their concept and projects and then things goes south very quickly.

At first I thought this was an attempt to bring back a tipping platform like ChangeTip, but on further inspection I realized that it was something totally different. Good concept and a great idea.  ;)

I will try it soon on some things that I have been searching for.  ;D

Bitfortip has been running for 3.5 years. I am very optimistic that someday it will become big.

I believe that even people outside the cryptocommunity will find it a useful service and that it will make them acquire some <<credits>> in order to be able to post an inquiry on the platform.

In the future I will add additional altcoins because many people don't want to spend their BTC and prefer hodling them.

This one was also a nice inquiry.

Strange thing I noticed while I was browsing around and testing things, was when I used the "Copy to Clipboard" on the Bitcoin address, it pasted a whole different Bitcoin address that was copied from the one provided on your site for my account. <Hope I do not have any strange Malware/Clipboard Hijacking going on>  ::)

Thank you, you have honoured your promise to credit my account and I immediately used it to fund my first request. Within a couple of hours I received 4 answers, but it was mostly people repeating the same answer.

What is the possibility to have a split reward? Let's say, 3 of those people gave 3 different answers and all of those answers was helpful to answer your request?

Can you possibly add a tipping service for other people? Lets say someone answered someone else's question and that question was helpful for you too at a later stage. I would like to tip that person later for his good answer.  ;)

* Yes, some kind of filter needs to be implemented to avoid that. It also requires people answering to pay attention on what the inquirer asks. Many answers aren't very well thought before beeing submitted.


* There is no possibility at the moment to split the Bitcoin reward to multiple people. The majority of the rewards are small at the moment and in the end noone will remain happy.
Plus there are also those BTC fees.

Adding additional cryptocurrencies seem to be a must at this point.

Would like to see more inquiries submitted from smartphones. As it gives a nicer use case ;) with people uploading items that they saw somewhere that they need to find.

Bitfortip is very likely to be included on an upcoming Bitcoin documentary as a use case for cryptocurrencies.

It will help bring more awareness from people around the world.

How are you going to solve the problem in the beginning stages, when there are only a few people using the service and

people not getting a lot of responses on their questions? I think the difficulty in the beginning is to get active people on your

platform to drive the platform. Just as a matter of interest, how many users has signed up so far? Inactivity will kill these

services. (How do you keep people interested?)

More cryptocurrencies will be implemented to give the members more choices as people are more hesitant to use BTC.

A catalyst is needed to make this service take off.

Just a little feedback on what I experienced, since our last inter action.  ;D

I posted my request and monitored the responses and it seems as though people are just Copy & Pasting other people's responses in the hope that their response would be picked for payment. <Not your site's problem, because it is human behaviour>  ;)

What browser would be best to view your site? <getting some clipping in IE and none in Firefox>  ;D This is not a big deal, because I just swap browsers until I find the best one to view the site.  ;)

I've deleted many times duplicate answers on the platform.
A filter will need to putted that will disable same link/words/sentence being posted twice.


In my opinion best view is via the smartphone app and is easier to navigate.

Ah, thank you for that... I kinda used the computer to do this and the smartphone app looks a lot better.  8)  Funny how the price of a bitcoin was still $848 when this review was done. <Just shows you how fast the price spiked in 2017>

I agree, filters will just spoil the experience and higher activity always looks much better on any platform. Filters will also confuse users, if they post responses and it does not reflect on the site.
