Hi. I was playing BZFlag today and collided with pirateat40. I know there has been a ****storm about him, but I haven't really followed it all that much. Anyway, he says he wants to promote BZFlag and pays 1BTC for every kill. If this is true I will quit school and play all day ;D

I'm wondering how pirateat40 can convert this to a scam, and how much he expects to make from it. Any ideas, BZFlag fans?

Cool checked it out and signed up, seems totally legit and kosha guy's, you get paid 1 btc a kill although you can't cash out straight away, this is just because he wants serious and committed players.

As soon as you've got 20 kills you're illegible and automatically promoted to a tier 2 player (special agent) this means your monies safely invested in the game and every subsequent kill earns you 10% commission on your balance.

As soon as you've got got 1000 kills (you'll be a millionaire by this point) you can cash out with a one time handling fee of 199 Bitcoins to cover the bloke who has to keep tapping x1.1 into his calculator to work out your earnings and also to stop people cashing out to early.

After the formalities are completed pirate guarantees payout no later than 6 months or as soon as he's collected enough bounty to make it worth his time sailing to his Somalian bank to process the payments.

what a crock of shit.. Pirate is waving a huge middle finger at everyone.

To be fair it's far more likely to be a troll on the game trying to stir shit on the back of the current happenings than it is to be the real pirate40, unless there's a good reason which I may be missing to suggest it's really him.

I highly doubt that's actually Pirate, more likely someone trolling for laughs.
