I also think I would be wasting my time if I'm not helping someone at the same time. As a result, I will, for free, slice your PSD documents into an HTML page. I can only take one at a time, though.

Getting the portfolio of work is a vicious cycle, since you need experience to get experience. Nobody will pay someone with no proven experience, so I figured I could skip the being paid part if it made the initial jobs easier. If you haven't created any for other people yet, why don't you get some PSD templates and practice with those?
