Let me counter with a stupid idea of my own. The bitcointalk community should be able to vote newly released newbies back into the crib. The more votes, the longer they must remain.

That wasn't stupid that was pure awesome.  Make it like a +/-.  Too many minus you go to noob zone for a time out and your - score increses by 1 pt per x hours.  When it is back to zero you can come out and play again.

How about...no. It is against the ideals of Bitcoin, there is no freedom in creating a racket. There's more to Bitcoin than being 1337

DDoS is a good first step in the right direction.

But the real solution is to hack into unbitcoined sites and modify the code, so that they start accepting BTC whether they want to or not.

Make the transition transparent, brainless, and involuntary.    8)

Maybe even remove other forms of payment (looking at you, PayPal and Visa/MC) so their customers have no choice either.   :P

But he's just trying to spread freedom, by force if necessary! Seems legit. :D

damn straight bro.  Freedom isn't free, it has a cost.  Priced in bitcoins.  Plus transaction fees.

Go ahead then, good luck DDoS'ing Ebay and Apple.

Guys, expect having the Apple website down in two hours! And no, it's not because of the arrival of the iPhone 5.

How about the forum mods banning trolls?

I think the Monarchy tried that with selective breeding, but instead of creating a master race, their gene-pool restrictions culminated in the current batch of geniuses.

Well...

Step 1. Find out about Bitcoin
Step 2. Suggest something that might appeal to greedy Bitcoiners no matter how ridiculous
Step 3. Forget to add lame signature begging for money.
Step 4. Add lame signature lamely by adding it as a copy pasta to the bottom of every post.
Step 5. Fail.

Sorry sport, wrong. It is a really bad idea, the work of a fourth grade mentality with fantasies of being Super Leet Hackzor Man. Penicillin was evil genius. The US Army developing AIDS as a bio-warfare weapon (at Ft. Meade, 1979, first tested on an Air Canada flight from Montreal to New York on flight attendant Gaëtan Dugas) is evil genius. This is just lame.

The idea doesn't go far enough. How about firebombing places that don't accept Bitcoin?

"What do you mean: I can't pay my steak with BTC? Have a firebomb."

"This subway ticket machine doesn't accept BTC? Have a firebomb."

"Hello policeofficer, I am here to pay my outstanding parking ticket with these fine BTCs. You what? You don't? Have a firebomb."

School is back in session so all the script kiddies who want to sound techno-savvy and grown up rush to fora like this and start trying to act all big and knowledgeable. I hate September for just this reason. Little fuckers get computers for the new school year, and instead of searching pr0n like they should be, they clutter up interesting places with their stupidity.

Ok, so what if there was somebody with a tor hidden service paying people to run their LOIC against certain targets in certain time frames for BTC?
Looks like a business idea to me but I guess it's hard to verify if the people actually did what they are being paid for.

Now running this exclusively to force websites into accepting bitcoins is where it gets just stupid. Ok, you could take small businesses offline one at a time and cheer with them coming back - now with bitcoin but I thought we had agreed to not reveal the evil nature of Bitcoin before 2015? Change of plan? Satoshi? Can you please clarify?
