Title: Trade - Gox yubikey for regular one Post by: LD-ZOGY8 on September 09, 2012, 05:35:00 AM I bought a couple of Mt Gox Yubikey codes on here, with the hopes that I could reprogram the second one to store a couple of (secure, long) static passwords.
When they said that the Gox Yubikey only works with Gox, i thought they meant unless you want to reprogram it, in which case it will work like a normal Yubikey. Unfortunately what they meant was that the Yubikey is protected and can't be reprogrammed without a passcode that Gox refuses to give out. I have no idea why they apply this policy, but anyway. I have one black unbranded Mt Gox Yubikey that I would like to either sell or swap for a regular, reprogrammable Yubikey. Taking all reasonable offers.
