Title: Multibit and the fork to XT Post by: gogxmagog on June 02, 2015, 01:15:24 AM Will the fork to 20mB Bitcoin XT affect multibit? As multibit is my primary hot wallet is there anything I should be concerned about? Not interested in opinions about the fork, just the end user realities.

In short, I don't think you're going to have to do anything except potentially upgrade your multibit client. Doing that will most likely be the same as when you've done it before (you'll probably need to import your wallet into the new version). On the other hand, worry never a good thing (IMO). Nevertheless, I agree that most-likely there will be nothing to be done from the perspective of a multibit-user. MB is developed by Mike Hearn (IIRC) and he's one of the proponents of the increased block size (again, IIRC).
