* Revolutionary hardware cryptocurrency wallets
* Protected from attacks outside your LAN network
* Discount buying with BTIcoin

Keeping your cryptocurrencies on your main computers at home now poses more risks than ever.  Hackers are using sophisticated methods to gain access to computers that have ports open to the Internet.  Users that already have a good firewall, strong password, or proxy now have reported their wallets being emptied. BTI Staker is an independent mini-computer that exists only on your inside network with no access to the outside world.  We aim to assist you and your digital assets by keeping them isolated, but still giving them freedom to stake coins.

_____________________________________________

BTI (Blockchain Technologies Inc) was established on October 29, 2014. BTI will focus on using the revolutionary, publicly-available, open-source concept called the ‘Blockchain' and related technologies that are currently being used primarily in the bitcoin/cryptocurrency industry. A blockchain is a public ledger of all transactions or ideas. The foundation of this revolutionary technology, the blockchain, has limitless possibilities to modernize and increase the efficiency of many day-to-day, real-world applications from voting to charitable processes to government processing.

The BTI team is comprised of creative thinkers already familiar with blockchain technology and others from various industries that see the potential to use this new-found technology. The other part of this team consists of an active group of experienced computer programmers and developers working to implement technologies based on the ideas of the creative team.

The Staker is a network stand-alone cryptocurrency wallet and is the first of the HardWallet product line to come from Blockchain Technologies Inc (BTI). The device is primarily comprised of open source software and hardware installed with our modular web application. Our engineers preinstall all the necessary software to the device’s hard drive, which is a removable microSD card. The microSD cards with the software preinstalled are also available for purchase, but orders are not available directly on our purchasing portal. Please reach out to us via email at blockchaintechs@gmail.com.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1028126.new#new

For bitcoin, the device will help break the barrier between those who would like to use bitcoin (from what they hear on TV and others), but are not software savvy when it comes to computers. For those who are more software savvy, you may still prefer an “at home cloud” type of service for your more exclusive financial holdings. The Staker will serve the same purpose for other crypto currencies as well.

The Staker will have the biggest impact on cryptocurrencies that function on a Proof of Stake (POS) coding algorithm, as it allows the owner of this device to conveniently run a crypto currency wallet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for staking purposes. In future versions, we will offer automatic trading capabilities on various exchanges where an application programming interface (api) is available from the exchange.

The Staker will be more “accessible” to the end user. You can plug the device into any HDMI monitor, it will work with standard USB peripherals (mouse, keyboard) and you can interact with it like a desktop computer to do things like: update the native Operating System, update the wallet software, adjust any way the user wants to.

The HardWallet Staker Version1 will include the following features:

■   Multi Wallet Capabilities
■   Upgradable Specs upon request
■   See transactions, both mined (PoS), received, sent
■   Generate new addresses
■   Send coins
■   Show connections, block height, balance
■   Wallet backup*
■   Wallet Delete and Reset*
■   Updater for deamon*
■   Updater for Staker backend*
■   Changing IP Address of The HardWallet Staker*
(*will be added only upon user demand as additional instructions may be necessary in some cases)

We are creating our own currency to sustain our business model for the products we release in the real world. We are not interested in pumping or dumping the coin as it fills a need to create our own economy in the crypto space. Too many cryptos are being created with no purpose. Our currency will be solely used to purchase physical hardware or software from our company at a discount than using fiat or BTC. This model is how we see cryptocurrency having a solid use for the future.

This is not the traditional cryptocurrency model that is out there now. Our sole use for this crypto is to fund our development and provide people with a way to get our products at a discount.

Can you explain "Multi Wallet Capabilities" ?

Definitely the Staker can have up to 6 different wallets on the device at his time and that is just due to space limitations using micro sd cards. We are developing the technology further to incorporate a larger hdd however at this time we are limited to 64gb

Thanks we are very excited about it and this is just the first product we will be bringing to market.

We are focused on some other software solutions that may be available in the near future once more testing and development is done on them.

Also everybody, the Staker WebUI is open source :) https://github.com/Blockchaintechs/StakerUI

These units are simple:

  • An open source micro-PC (like rasberry pi, arduino, beaglebone, etc.)
  • Ubuntu 14
  • Apache Tomcat
  • Cryptocurrency daemon(s)
  • Staker Web UI

If you get a single coin, you will see that coins UI when you navigate to the IP address of the device in your web browser. If you have multiple coins, you will see a single page with all the coins you have installed on your Staker device.

Please also note: Stakers are NOT meant for public networks, but rather for private home or office networks where you trust the devices connected to it.

Aw c'mon and stop being so humble, Kam. If it were simple, everyone would have one.  Don't undermine the hard work you put into making the custom UI!

No ICO this coin never had one we are using this currency to stimulate our own economy, mainly since we will be developing blockchain related technologies this serves as our catalyst for our next waves of solutions.

We also love this industry so are excited to have our own currency here in pace with our in real life developments.

Yes it does :) with coins like NXT, it works a little different as you will get the full wallet UI as if it's running on your own device. For all other coins, we've built a web UI that works with the JSON-RPC API of the daemon.

Apologies first if this has already been discussed, haven't been able to keep up with my crypto hobbies as of late.

Will this device eventually allow any POS crypto wallet to stake 24 hours?

Wow, ok cool.....I thought you guys were a bit away from getting that far with this.  Currently though the devices have to be ordered with the desired wallets already installed correct or can we install any we need as needed?  How much storage space are on these devices?  I take it how many wallets is can run is dependent on size of blockchains of individual wallets?

In version 1 yes we have to I stall we are working on auto installs from github.

There can be up to 4 - 6 wallets and we can have up to a 64gb card. Yes depending on blockchain size

Anyone feel like showing me some love on reddit :)

http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/38sa1p/z/crxtr72

I mention the staker to someone who is venting about the need for a secure online wallet. The ataker can fill this void for a number of folks
outset I have seen here a great project, but I still do not understand why not be the concerns of investors

What do you mean?
we need big ex dev  ;D ;D

for sure it needs big exchange, all coins do. on the other hand just buy them cheap now on c cex. im scratching my head in wondering why there is no dumpers with this coin, strong hands i guess.

and do people here even realise that the genuine supply of BTI is NOT 6m. as per the swap not all participated. so again value will increase over time.

I'll let one cat out of the bag here. This is one of the things we have been discussing lately, an altcoin exchange of all crypto's paired against BTI. We feel its a required tool towards building our own economy. Sadly our progress is very slow moving with only having one in house dev: me. If anyone knows of any web devs looking to grab a bag of BTI and help out feel free to spread the word! :) I am able work with just about any type of dev so long as they can produce.

Edit: I also have a functioning architecure for most of it in java (backend) although the trading engine we're open to recommendations.

500 sat for 6 million coin is fairly cheap for this coin, I think you should also buy a little after the chat with my dev BTI that this is a team full of enthusiasm for this coin

he obviously means the price will be drastically be higher than the current price. and to my knowledge there is not 6m supply due to people not participating in the swap. ask dev to make it public. people should know the proper supply, which is less than 6m.

luck maith  :D

Winners have been emailed! :)

I'll let the winners expose themselves if they'd like to. Turns out the 1st place winner also won the hat from 3rd place, there were two winners all together.

If you did not receive an email by this time, you most likely did not win. Keep an eye on your inboxes though! We will have a special offer coming soon for all of those that played :)

Thanks again!

u dont make sense. not much activity in here at all. which is never a good sign in crypto. yes theres been a swap and a competition but other than that theres been nothing posted here to update community. and still an indecisive attitude to publicly post the final supply of BTI. swap is long over now no point in still waiting for people to get onto use with scsy for BTI swap, thats long over .

Dear BTI Community. I would like to apologize for our lack of communication lately and I will explain exactly why this came about to be as transparent as we possibly can. We have a STRONG coin that has an amazing working wallet, a killer professional website, an ever evolving and improving business plan and amazing products to enhance the Blockchain and experience with Crypto for everyone.

I hope you can understand that sometimes LIFE comes in and shakes up the plans a little bit. Without naming names of our team:

One team member lost a dear family member recently and is coping with the fallout of such a loss. He will be returning very soon full force but is picking up the pieces as such a tragic event can really drag anyone down in the slump.

Another team member took a full time Crypto Job and quit his other full time job. This proved to be a mistake as we all know how the world of Crypto is. After hard work and long hours he finally got back to the field he belongs in and is back to help move the team forward/

I ran into real world legal issues which had caused me to have to step back from the project and all of crypto when it was moving from SCSY to BTI. I am now back and not going anywhere.

This being said... we have invested on our team dozens and dozens of bitcoin out of our own pocket in order to R&D, build the product, build the website, build the wallet and coin and to support the market against malicious traders who wanted to crush our project. This has left some of us in debt. ALL OF US ARE INVESTED IN THIS COIN.

So now what?
We have to admit, we have made quite a few mistakes in bringing these revolutionary ideas to market. We are not here merely to make a buck or pump and dump. We are here for the Blockchain. We believe in the future of Crypto. If anything has been proven lately with Greece and China it is that Crypto holds the key to the future of finance. Fail, Fail, Fail until we succeed. We will not give up until we DO SUCCEED.

As explained before, everything is built and it all works flawlessly. We have been getting all the proper paperwork filed to make Blockchain Technologies a legitimate corporation with accountable people to answer to you. One of the things we are waiting on this moment is a HUGE grant that we can use for Research and Development. This grant will open us up to many other products other than the Staker and help revolutionize Crypto to better mankind.

The team is reorganizing duties and we have reestablished communications with each other 100%. We will be open to contact for questions and concerns on here more often and on Facebook as we will be creating a community facebook group for you to reach us EASILY. We are doing this because we believe your feedback and ideas can help better BTI. This is bigger than our corporation and team. YOU ARE PART OF THE TEAM!

There was a winner for the contest and he was notified. The winner will be posted here shortly.

Thank you for your understanding and support!

We will be fully interacting here but Facebook is the quickest way to have an effective discussion.

So Join the Discussion!!

There's not much interacting going on. Is Bti dead in the water?? Updates would be helpful. Thanks

Jagrapolite5 and TronREX is the same young guy that made disaster to two other coins already. Beware because he is a multiaccounter and tries to smear a exchange to give him BTC for coins that dont move because a blockchain is dead. That coin is also an testcoin. You have been warned.

Your such an idiot. Can't you read? This is a takeover, not a new coin. Now tell me. Why are BTI users having issues withdrawing from your exchange?
Point proven! Scamtopia!! The epicenter of coin thieving. Let me know when you want me to take over your exchange. I will definitely do a better job than you guys.

REX,

REX,

Hi Jag5
I dont own any exchange. I dont have any connection to any exchange. I have used exchanges for changing coins to another coin. If there is any idiot here then dont look further than youself. You are lying about a lot of things including your skills and who you are. I know this is a takeover. Its a pretended takover. You are trying same things again. It dont matter how many accounts you are using the concept is the same. If you dont like someone or what they are saying then you smear them accusing them of things that they never have done. Your account on cryptopia got locked and I belive the facts I was told  about why they did it. I have seen you lie about things so I know who is the bad guy. Its sad to see a guy like you doing bad things to crypto. You and some other ppl are the curse that have hit crypto and make ppl to leave.

Announcing and releasing the software of what used to be the Staker, open source. Thought some folks still lurking here may be interested.

Here on BT
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1317415.0

Reddit
https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3zofrq/open_source_web_based_wallet_ui_designed_for/

Last I heard from Darren (ACAD), he told me he had something he thought I was going to love, and then I noticed he started making changes to the BTI facebook page and it was now Brain Technologies...I guess I just assumed the new account here was his. I honestly don't know, nor do I care.

Regardless, the web UI could still be beneficial to people so I'm sharing it and have published an updated version of it's source to my own account.
https://github.com/kamronk/AtHomeWallet

I've also written up a blog post containing deployment instructions:
http://kamronk.com/bitcoin-wallet/

I'm still keeping myself busy as usual and hope all is well with everyone else also :)

Cheers guys

Hello,

I think that I should point out that I am the one doing the takeover. Darren is no longer associated with nothing that has to do with BTI.
Fell free to reach out to me and the new thread with any concerns. I am sure I can assist anyone having any issue.

Feel free to check out the new thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1291697.0

This new thread will present things once they are done. If you want more insight into the things that are being worked on at the moment feel free to request a invite to the Facebook group. There is also a new forum for BTI being worked on at the moment. This will be the home to everything BTI. Also we have a new website in the works, address will be http://www.bticoin.club

Thanks,
REX
