Title: [[ AUCTION/BUY IT NOW ]] MultiDice - Established Dice Website
Post by: MultiDice on June 09, 2015, 09:36:18 PM
Hello,

I decided to put MultiDice on auction again. After almost a year of existence a lot of work has been invested to make it like it is now. There is certainly potential here, I am just not able to run the site any more.

MultiDice is a stylish Dice where each individual roll is guaranteed to be fair by editing client seed. The java code is very secure and was written with security as priority. The site can work on different platforms though. There is no admin panel but everything is easily editable in mysql database using MyPhPadmin or HeidiSQL software.

User features:

- Fast Roll
- Faucet
- Affiliate program
- Investments
- Chat
- Emergency Withdrawal
- (room for more)

All artwork and sound effects are unique, originally fastbluff.

It's a relatively small project, but with a lot of potential for someone with enough time and skills to promote and work on it. I already have a few agreements with other site owners to put banners and reviews on their sites.

Included in this auction:

- Domain: multidice.me
- Valid RapidSSL Wildcard for *multidice.me (not installed yet)
- All project files including images, sounds, banners, ... everything.
- Bitcointalk.org account (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile)
- Twitter account (https://Twitter.com/multidice)

Some statistics since last update:

- 4,468 bets made
- over 15 BTC wagered

Starting bid: 1 BTC
Bid Increments: 0.05 BTC
Buy it now: Make me an offer via PM
End date: Monday 15th June 23:00 GMT

Why a new one? You said in the last one that it has been sold at BIN price. Why was there a need for a new one? Did the buyer back out? Anyways, I can't see BIN Price even now, though title says that

15 btc for 0,50 % edge = 0,075 btc in so many time?
In how many times I can repay my investments?
I can be interested but If my count are not wrong seems not the best investments...

Yes, previous auction buyer "david19" backed out last minute, after agreeing with me on everything and telling me to cancel the auction.

there's no BIN, it says to make an offer just like his last thread, can you not read or are you just looking to boost your post count for that ponzi scam you're promoting?

Youre numbers look correct. Though he mentioned that he dont have the time to make this work. So a buyer might be able to promote the site correctly, attracting gamblers and raise the income.

If much work went into this dice site then it might be worth something. Though only if the buyers knows how to attract gamblers. Or at least know someone who can do this work properly.

Im not sure how good a signature campaign on bitcointalk would run. I believe its hard, though i might be wrong.

Statistics are from the last update about 1 month ago. For the whole year it's much more but I don't have the exact figures at hand.

Hard to tell now because my hosting ran out, but it ranged between 20 to nearly 200 when we had CLAM dice.

Is the investment feature on multidice fully operational right now?  Would there be any way to put up the site on free hosting or something so that interested buyers could have a look?

Yes all features are fully operational. Let me see if I can get it up on one of those cheap VPS servers.

I might place a bid on this if you're able to get the site back online, even if temporarily so I can take another look at it.

Ok the site is up on the new temporary VPS. Some features like for ex. deposit/withdrawal might not work correctly because the coin daemon is missing but you can still get a feel of the site.

A couple of questions:
Is it coded entirely in php?
Is it all proprietary code (user authentication, etc.)?
What system does it use to process bitcoin transactions?
What is the maximum number of bets / second you were able to get out of it?

No this is java version.

Yes, it's a closed-source code written exclusively for fastbluff. It doesn't have 2fa authentication implemented, yet.

Currently it uses client on server.

You can set it at 7-8 bets per second but you'll need fast server.

Any news? This is seriously taking too long, auction ended on Monday it's Thursday today and we don't even have any agreements in place. I have other people interested who pay instantly without escrow. I will wait for you until the end of today, if no agreements in place I will sell and leave you negative. Sorry but I have no choice.

MultiDice: do not send me any more PMs. Do not push me to send you bitcoins without escrow. Write here, public, everything you need.

I have sent many messages since you confirmed winner acution (June 16, 7:02 AM, eight hours after auction ended).

I have contacted 4 escrows:
- alexrossi: he is AFK.
- gweedo: he is not available; he was propossed by you.

There are two escrows that can do the deal. You asked for a escrow with software skills, I am awaiting reply from them about that point:
- monbux
- devthedev

Instead of pretending me to send bitcoins without any security, propose here a escrow that satisfies all your requirements (and that it is not away). I am also tired of this taking so long, your help will be appreciated.

From what I know, I will hold onto the bitcoins, everything will be sent from the seller to the buyer.  If the buyer brings up any problems in the process, I will THEN review over the files and look for any problems.  I can get my friends to help with this but I guess it would be better to have an escrow with full coding knowledge (that's not me) :P  If no major disputes related to the code itself were to occur, i think I would be fine for this job.

Cheers!

Alexrossi did not contact me. Brandnew user (scammer)  "alexrossi `", note the tick at the end, contacted me (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=523787).

That is, only monbux available for escrow at the moment.

I would suggest that you continue this in PM with the OP, as for the auction has already closed and there would be no point to bump it back up.  PM me if you guys decide to use my escrow services.  Cheers!

Im generally a coder though i did not do much with java yet. Does the escrow have to check the sourcecode? Really?  :o Anyone who is doing that would have to be prepared for a serious amount of work.

Besides, im no security expert and would most probably not know all possible problems.

There should be no need to check anything. I just want to make sure I get what it is stated in the auction (I guess that is what escrow is for?).

Thanks, Mitchell.  That's the problem with dealing with a trade like this this publicly.  It draws scamming scum in :-/.  Please note that I will never refuse to provide a signed PGP message.  BTW, what was the imposter's username? ::)
