On a scale of 1 to 10, How Excited (!!) Are You About BTC and the Bitcoin Project?

I wouldn't really say that I'm excited at all. I would rather say that it interests me a lot.
Bitcoin is something very catchy thing for me. There is just so much potential around it and I probably think way too much than I'm willing to admit. Sometimes even mental fatigue occurs, however I do not complain.
I would very much want Bitcoin to be everywhere in X(X) years.

I knew the forums in 2013 from currency exchange section because I was looking to buy Paysafecard , but I started using Bitcoin till last year on July or something . and I still see that Bitcoin project is so excited so I will give it a 10 ;D
I don't think too much on Bitcoin when I have school or stuff like that , but my exams will finish tomorow and I will be in long long so long holidays so Bitcoin will be taking 90% of my head

5, seeing really not much progress recently. I was much more excited like a year ago...

I think 50% of Bitcoin. But I always tell friends about it. Some interesting to listen to. But some friends disclaims Bitcoins. They say that they have paypal, credit cards, and they do not want to change.

I'm not particularly excited at the moment because I've invested so much & at the moment not showing much of a profit. I HODL everything so I haven't lost anything as I haven't sold anything.
I'm more anxious in the hope that bitcoin will become as huge as it's designed to be & gain mainstream adoption.
If bitcoin reaches its potential I'd tell you that I could be a 10 for excitement but because at the moment I'm anxious I'll say 7.

Progress has not happened as quickly as I would have hoped.  There are still NO BTC ATMs in my city for example.

An increasing price would help drive interest in BTC, but at this point a stable price is OK with me.

probably about an 8 right now. This technology interests me greatly, and I would like to see it gain mass adoption. I love the concept, and think that this decentralization can be utilized in so many different ways, as many Bitcoin startups are doing now.

I find it funny that people say progress isn't happening fast enough. Things are happening way faster today than they were a year ago. More money is being invested in bitcoin companies, more people are thinking about investing, etc. We even have publicly traded shares (GBTC). I'm even more excited today than I was when I first learned about bitcoin because I can see where things are going. Every day it becomes more clear to me that bitcoin isn't going away. And if it does, it'll be replaced by another coin, which I will happily join. Because at the end of the day, blockchain technology works.

Im pretty excited, the good news and interesting projects and personalities keep popping up to support it, even if it doesn't translate into the price just yet. I don't care because there is always lag between this and the price when we are talking brand new tech.

I would say 7. There is a lot of potential for Bitcoin and I am hoping it goes mainstream. I think the blockchain technology is great, and that it will be something that can change the world.

Definitely a 8, or maybe 9. Really excited about what's next for Bitcoin, especially with the latest talk about block size...

1 (since it's the lowest) in 2011-2013. I learned about bitcoin somewhere between 2011-2012 but never actually got into it. and I ended up forgetting about it.

10 in mid 2013 to early 2014. what can I say, I just learned about bitcoin again and saw the price went up like nuts.

4 after ^ to mid 2014. I was into altcoin then.

6 after ^ to present. addicted to bitcoin. but I can't stay excited forever else I'll have a heart attack  :P

Good point JayCoDon, it can seem "slow" since the prices are so stable, but the fundamentals are growing at an exciting pace.

In the present, I would say about a 6, because of the stagnant price, but for long term, 10. I believe in 500.000 to 1 million per coin in a decade or two when Bitcoin takes over the world, and im not alone in this, the founder of Xapo sees this scenario too. All or nothing, that's how I see it, and if you choose all, you better aim high.

0 in terms of wanting to use bitcoin myself; I see its usefulness but I don't personally need it. I don't do remittances or make contracts or foreign exchange all that much.

Now that Mike Hearn has taken charge, I'm 10X more excited about Bitcoin than ever before!

Bitcoin, by its very nature, is here to stay.  we can adopt it into the mainstream and build tooling around it  Bitcoin is decentralized ! It only requires software and network connections.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I am at a Z to the 6th power.

But because I'm in a perpetual state of zen-like confidence in the decentralized future of currency.

I am fairly excited but it doesnt take up much of my day. Maybe like a 5?

at the beginning I was 9 or so,but now I am 4 or 5 as much, I have lost almost all the faith  :'(

I think it's an absolute genius of an idea. Some say it's a mistake but hey, what good came out without a mistake.

I need to think about it on a daily basis quite a lot because it's also part of my job.

To tell the truth, when I first started to collect Bitcoins, I was not much excited about it. May be 4 out of 10. Then everything changed. All of a sudden, the exchange rate went up from $10 to $1,200. Now the excitement level was like 10 out of 10. But then the Mt Gox robbery, SMP hack.etc happened. Right now, I'll rank my excitement level at 8 out of 10.

I would say bitcoin takes up way more of my free time than i would like to admit. I find the technology fascinating, the smart people involved in bitcoin keep coming up with innovations which make bitcoin so much more attractive. I think there is a lot of potential with bitcoin, and this is the tip of the iceberg.

I would say, about 5 currently.

I liked the idea of decentralized authority for Bitcoin development, but it seems a fork will give some people more power and this makes me negative towards the project.

The moment when self interest is put above the project, you will get a situation like this. You would even force a situation to get your way.

Things like this cause a split, and sometimes this devide becomes too big and the whole project fails OR the competitors see a gap, and they force it wider.

Time will tell, if this fork was manipulated or if it was in the best interest of the community.  >:(

i'm more excited now that when there was the peak, because i knew that after that crazy value, there would be a big crash, now i'm confident that we can only rise from now

the simple fact that you show in good will your interest income its good but i mean hte fact that you keep bitcoin and the bitcoin price rised dont mean its perfect or major good for a bussiness investment you can not from now just keep you need to porsper it no?

Used to be a 10 in 2013, few months ago it was like a 5, couldn't care much less. Recently it moved up again, somewhere around a 7-8, can feel a positive vibe again, approaching what I had when I first heard of bitcoin. Lets just hope this time im a little bit earlier on the train ;)

Bitcoin is a great technology, I'm very exited! 10 of 10.

Well I must say initially it started at perfect 10 but right now it's about 9 and still going strong. So, does it matter? For me, 9 out of 10 still means it's good enough and I won't move away from what I believe, even if the price continues to drop as long as the core fundamental is there on what a true currency is all about, I'm still with bitcoin.

when I first saw bitcoin it was 10 for sure..now after two years? let's say 7..

I have mixed emotions with bitcoin. I was very excited when I first got involved especially with the price rising dramatically, but then came the comedown and it's been quite unexciting and boring ever since. I still see the massive potential in bitcoin but again it is disappointing that it already hasn't been realized. I also know the general public isn't as enthusiastic about bitcoin as we are so this is only going to further restrict adoption. I guess all we can do is keep doing our bit and see where bitcoin goes in the future but for now I'm not that exicted and only disappointed with the lack of adoption.

but i think about bitcoin a lot everyday, since i invested in bitcoin, it is a part of my daily routine to come here, go to coindesk for price, go to my exchanger and place some offers, ....

8. I do spend a large portion of my day reading about bitcoin, researching it etc. I'm always talkin about it to friends in real life too, as they are also interested.

I'm just knew bitcoin since 2014 and I'm still interest ( scale 9 ) since bitcoin ever reach into $ 1000 / btc. If only I'm knew bitcoin earlier.
Well bitcoin also turn my life a bit, from never thinking about it but for now I'm thinking about the price everyday. Hope this is normal for me  :P

I'd say when I first got into bitcoin, I was pretty thrilled (lev. 10) from all the ways people can make money now, for ex. signature campaigns, BTC gambling, and mining. This was in 2013. This new form of payment is what excited me the most from the start. But after a while I got use to it, and bitcoin kind of got into a rough period. Start of 2015, it dropped a lot, and I almost lost faith in btc. So that was a (lev. 2). Now I think btc is still fun, and still worth our time for investment, so I'm back to a (lev.10) again.  ; ;D

i am less excited about bitcoin as i first started using it. especially because of what happened to the price, i have only seen it fall :) so far.
but i am optimistic about bitcoin in general and try to accumulate whatever amount that i can.

Exactly people resist change and that is the reason why they stay from using bitcoins as they view it risky as they haven't used it anytime. Credit cards paypal are user friendly products and that is the reason they trust it more but for me I am very much excited in using bitcoins as i can buy variety of products using my bitcoins.

The  bitcoinmania is just beginning.  We are so fortunate as humans to be living in epochal change like the advent of the crypto-currencies
