Up for auction is my signature space for a period of 30 days

Additional information:see below for more detailed terms:

• I reserve the right to end this auction early if I receive a BIN offer to my liking
• I will guarantee a minimum of 300 posts over the 30 day period
• My records indicate that I made over 650 posts over the last 4 weeks and over 850 posts over the prior month to that, although I have no intention of slowing my rate of posting, I do not want to guarantee more then 300 posts as I do not want to feel as if I am posting simply to meet a quota
• The signature space can be resold and/or leased by the winning bidder
• In the unlikely event that I do not meet the 300 post minimum, a refund will be issued at a rate of n/300 of the purchase price with n being the number of posts under 300 that I did not meet
• I reserve the right to reject advertisements, primarily for companies/entities that are associated with a scam and/or large amounts of spam. This right is reserved even after payment is made. If I exercise this right then a partial refund will be issued (see below)
• If I decide to reject your advertisement, and you are closely affiliated with the site/entity that is being advertised then the refund amount will be y/30) of the purchase price, or if I believe you to be a reseller then I will give you 4 days notice to find a new advertisement and if you are unable to find an advertisement of our mutual acceptance within 4 days then I will refund you (y-5)/30 of the purchase price. In both cases y is the number of days remaining of the 30 day period as of when notice is given that I am rejecting an advertisement
• I reserve the right to maintain a single line of text advertising my escrow thread if I choose to reopen such thread
• Payment is due in advance either to me or escrow
• Escrow is accepted at your expense (a minimum tip/fee of .01 or 1% is required to be paid to the escrow) - the following escrows will be accepted: Tomatocage, PsychoticBoy, Blazr, and BadBear
• The personal text and avatar is not included in the bid amount, although the persona text may be purchased by the winning bidder for an additional .01 for the entire 30 day period and the avatar may be purchased for an additional .05 for the entire 30 day period
• The 30 day period that I will maintain the winning bidder's signature will start when I (or escrow) receives payment, when I put on the winning bidder's signature, or when the auction is over, whichever is earliest

Anti-sniping rule: Any bids made within 15 minutes of the end of the auction time will extend the end time by an additional 15 minutes

*Bids must be made in terms of BTC, however the LTC equivalent will be accepted based on exchange rates at the time of payment

Good auction. I always wondered what a auction of that kind will bring. I was impressed how much bitpop made with his short single link Oo. Though a whole signature is another thing. Signature campaigns are better mostly. Im interested to see how this here turns out.

I agree that signature campaigns are probably better, however the available Pay Per Post signature campaigns out there, either are associated with a lot of spam, are likely a scam, are not using escrow, have a low maximum post count, have very low rates or a mixture of the above.

This could be a good opportunity for someone to arbitrage by having me enroll in a non scam/spam campaign of their choice with their btc address and they would end up profiting assuming the company does not end up running away with free advertising.

I don't think most fixed rate deals would really be worth it to me due to the large number of posts that I typically make.

I would also feel that my signature spaces deserves somewhat of a premium due to my high profile in most of the marketplace sections, as well as what I perceive to be my reputation of putting a lot of effort into my work here.

Oh, are we allowed to do this? Are you willing to sign up for bit-x again, or dadice?  If so, i bid 0.15 BTC.

I wouldn't accept bit-x for the level of spam that they produce and I wouldn't accept dadice because they are likely a scam site. I would however accept pretty much any other current signature campaign (as long as it is not advertising a scam)

I am going to reject your bid of .15 because I wouldn't be willing to wear the signature of either of the campaigns you suggested, however if you wish to bid again then I would accept it after you have read which campaigns I would not be willing to participate in.

Wouldnt it be easier then to apply yourself? I mean you dont safe work by letting others arbitrage you. You would need to auction each month, deal with buyers and the thread and then you would get probably way less than what you could get. Applying to a campaign would be less work then.

So i think it will be a unique business's signature that you will wear at the end.

Well some of the campaigns are not using escrow and some may close at any time so if arbitrage is used/some then the buyer would be taking on some risk.

You are right that it would probably result in less money for me if I were to  apply to the campaign myself, however I am trying to maximize my earnings potential by auctioning my signature space. As of when my statement was made about arbitrage, the high bid was low enough to likely make arbitrage profitable.

I don't mind managing this thread and dealing with a potential buyer.

I would not be surprised if I would be working with a business directly, although it could be a situation where someone knows a business owner that needs advertising exposure.

I can say with a good amount of certainty that won't happen. I have been paid for thousands of posts and have never been banned.

In the unlikely event that I am unable to make the required number of posts for any reason then a partial refund would be issued in proportion to how many posts that I made.

Never tell other bidders its your final bid. :P Though i guess the auction will still go a couple days, likely that some more bids come. Though its already at a nice height. Better than i anticipated.

the current high bid works out to roughly .00116 btc per post based on the guaranteed 300 minimum number of posts. This is roughly in line with publicly available signature deals. Although it is less per post based on how many posts will most likely be made (more then 300)

Why is quicksellers signature space so expensive?

It's not, really.  He is an active poster that will be paid around that much by joining the current signature campaigns.  Sometimes, active and contributive posters will be paid with a premium, especially if they have a good reputation on the forum.

You should not forget boni of certain signature campaigns. They can easily top that payment per post. 300 posts for a month arent bad, though i guess most campaign runners would prefer the easy way of you applying, instead bidding here.

Its an interesting experiment nonetheless.

I have worked out a deal with vervolioman for a BIN offer and as a result this auction is now closed.

I will not post the price publicly however I would confirm the price if vervolioman wished for me to do so. I would not have an issue if he wanted to make the price public.

The title, and the terms say that the auction may end early. There will hopefully be more opportunities similar to this in the future :)

When will be the next auction for ur signature, a month?

I will most likely give the winner a chance to renew our current deal for at least another month after the current month is up. After that I am not sure what I will do.
