Someone asked why mine this coin. Well why mine ANY coin? We mine altcoins in the hope that we can make a little BTC and have some fun in meanwhile.
I made this coin with a short PoW and a fast PoS. It will perform well and should last a while on the exchanges.

at what block does POS start....after POW or during

Block 1 has been mined for 9473 coins. That transaction will be visible in the block explorer when we go live.
Staking begins on block 2000

the POS starts at block 2000...what is last POW block......and if they overlap...doesn't that serve to lower total coin supply

i made the batch file, but when i double click on it than it appear for 0.1 seconds and then its disappear, what make i wrong?

uh.. you'd need the error message so we can have a closer look. run the batch from a command prompt or enter "pause" and the end of the patch and the window should stay open

It always helps when they hear from a lot of people. Tweet / contact your favorite exchange and let them know.

if POS kicks in at block 2000 and POW ends at block 8640...doesn't that mean that blocks 2000 thru 8640 can be solved either POS or POW.....and if that is true ...that if they are solved POS.... doesn't that mean less overall coin supply....thereby making the premine actually much larger than 1%.

At block 2000 staking begins. Depending on weight you may earn interest on the coins in your wallet. That's it. Its called a hybrid. At block 8640 we go pure PoS.

so if block is solved POS...the reward is interest based on staking.. but if solved POW the reward is 101 to 116 BAM. Given that the bulk of the blocks can be solved with either method...would it be expected that the total coin supply will be much less than what is stated in OP?

like xra coin...in op it stated a total supply of 160million but final supply was more 75million...due to blocks being solved POS......but in the case of xra there was no premine.

Yes, the total coin supply will end up being less then what is on the OP. So, if the premine bothers you, move on.

it doesn't bother me that coin is premined...just trying to understand dynamics.....it does bother me that the dev has to lie about what the percentage of the total coin supply the premine really is.

  I don't think the Dev lied per-se. I think it was just a miscalculation. If you feel uneasy about it, just don't mine. Simple as that.

Yes, I guess the dev could have used statistical calculations (calculus) and give us the range of percentages within 5 standard deviations of the mean.  :D

or after POW he could agree to burn premined coins that exceed 1% of money supply...simple enough and solves the problem....what you say dev?

Mine did as well in Sandboxie which is usually the case with fancy wallets. Probably a missing dependency or wrong version.

Funny thing is that I found 5 blocks (wts) while not clicking the error message but as soon as I clicked it the wallet exited.

1: "Unblock" in properties
2: Run as admin
3: Change compatibility to "Win7" if your on 8

Should fix wallet issues :)

They look funny to me, IMHO. I thought using decimals should be avoided. Please educate me.

Edit: I've now took a look at the source code for Peercoin, Blackcoin, Positron, Clams & 10k. None of them seem to use decimals. Also, the above formula does not account for leap years. Sorry to rain on everyone's parade.

Do you want to get malware and get your wallets stolen? Because that's how you get malware and get your wallets stolen.

If you're not running wallets in a limited Sandboxie, a virtual amchine or on a throwaway OS then it's just a matter of time when you get your wallets (and maybe even your browser's saved login/passwords for exchanges) stolen.

Well I guess math genius I am not. Decided to make it hybrid and didn't take that into account. Sorry bout that. I doubt it amounts to many coins. Check the block explorer and you can see I left 472 in the wallet anyways. I will just destroy those or leave them there.

Lots of coins use decimals. Lots don't. There are no mandatory requirements for coding these things and that's what makes them great and different. Who wants a bunch of clones?

I think some of the seniors said it best. If something bothers you just move on.

I have contacted Bittrex and Yobit. I agree its very important that all miners contact the exchanges.

OP, this is a nice coin project but as you have already started talking with some exchanges it means you are in for real business, however i would advise to start with small exchange platform rather than big one like bittrex but join bittrex when you have gained mometum from other platform otherwise it could lead to early death of your coin BUT if you insist on bittrex, i think they have instant add coin method there for a small fee.

Exchanges tend to respond better when there is a lot of support for a coin. So the more people talk and tweet the better.

PoW ends in a bit. I see the usual dumpers on YoBit but the majority of the coins are still being staked. Now its time for the investors to get on board.

So if we want it on Bittrex the volume needs to increase on Yobit.
