Title: How long does it take to test and verify a DNA match? This will shock you! Post by: Gleb Gamow on June 22, 2015, 06:47:29 PM (CNN)DNA from New York prison escapees Richard Matt and David Sweat has been found inside a burglarized cabin in upstate New York, a law enforcement source told CNN. (http://www.cnn.com/2015/06/22/us/new-york-prison-break/)
Timeline: Saturday: Cabin reported broken into. Sunday: DNA at lab. Monday Morning: Match! How is that possible when most of what we've read depicts such a process taking a couple weeks at best due to the backlog. Back in the day when DNA testing was in its infancy, I recall a woman judge in Chicago being murdered, and the next day (two at the very most) there was a DNA match for the killer. I've always found that event weird. Title: Re: How long does it take to test and verify a DNA match? This will shock you! You can also get dna tests within an hour if you go on Jerry Springer show or its english equivalent Jeremy Kyle ;D.
