It is certainly suspicious enough that I would suggest that nobody send donations to the address listed at the bottom of the page. It is possible that it is a hacker's address.

I believe that simply refers to that specific page responding with a server error.  Like a custom "HTTP 500 - Internal Server Error" page.

Other parts of the site are functioning as normal:
  - http://bitcoincharts.com/bitcoin  (for seeing transactions that have not yet been included in a block)
  - http://bitcoincharts.com/charts
  - http://bitcoincharts.com/about

This could be pretty bad...
People could get scared and everyone might start selling now...which would equal to drastic price drops.
