Title: TabTrader - mobile trading terminal for all major exchanges
Post by: TabTrader on July 13, 2015, 03:43:27 PM
TabTrader is hands down the best trading app on Google play (4.6* rating), making it easy to go about your day without the urge to look up quotes and place trades from a desktop.

By connecting your exchange account(s) you will be able to monitor your balances in real time, analyse past prices and manage orders right from your Android smartphone.

Currently the following exchanges are supported: Coinbase, Bitstamp, ANXPRO, HitBtc, BTC-E, BTCChina, Huobi, Kraken, ItBit, Bitbay, Cryptsy, Bter, Bitfinex, Clevercoin, Bitmarket, Poloniex. New ones added with every update.

Order book and chart trading capabilities reduce order input time substantially giving you an edge over peers and in the world where getting there first is everything, it could make a difference between a profit and a loss.

What’s changed since previous post:

Margin trading support and multiple bug fixes
Account opening via API for selected exchanges
Exchange API keys encryption
Newsfeed aggregates all relevant news in one tab
Unlimited number of price alerts by push
Improved overall data efficiency (3 mb/month with average use)
PIN protection
Completely FREE with no annoying ads :)

To address any security concerns: please note that only permissions to buy, sell and view balance are needed, thus your funds are unhackable.

How do you connect your exchange accounts to the app, im pretty sure you would have to give your pass and username and after that it does not matter what permissions you have in-app if you can just get the info and connect to it on the pc, am i wrong on this?

@XinXan, one first has to generate API keys from the console of his exchange account and then put them into the app. It is at this stage that you decide what permissions you are giving to the third party apps that will control your exchange account via API. As I mentioned before, you do not need to give permissions to withdraw funds. See this example (http://tab-trader.com/anxpro-instructions/).
Once you've added an account to TabTrader (by inputting API keys generated earlier), you would be able to send and manage orders right from your Android device.

Hi,

Can you please share more how you use it ?
Are you an active trader, or do you use it just to check the market once in a while ?
Do you still trade on your computer ?
Do you use the app to trade more than one market at the same time ?

thanks

Good to see that BitMarket is also supported.

Are you planning iOS version ?

I have one suggestion. Please improve the bid/ask depth chart. Its not very useful and needs to be in a graphical format that visualizes the bid and ask cumulatively.

Graphical bid/ask representation is a great idea. We will implement it soon. It's just that we have so much work, that certain tasks only become high priority when users ask for them

Great application, well done.

Thanks! We are working on iOS version. Coming out soon!

At first sight, I was skeptical to try this out because OP is a newbie. Not that I don't trust anyone specially a newbie because I am one myself but because I was too paranoid to try new things out of what I am used to. But since there's a legendary and sr. member vouching this app I decided to give it a try and I kinda like it. Now I can trade easily whenever I like and wherever I go. All I need is my phone.

I don't think the API is available for IOS.. I was wondering also few weeks ago why I can't find mine then I realize that there's a slight difference between the IOS and Andriod version. You can edit and draw in the chart if you are using Andriod version while in IOS you can't. I hope Tabtrader Developer will make changes for the IOS version since not everyone is using an Andriod phone.

HI All

I am using this app seems to be working fine...

I have 2 issues
1. How to see profit and loss per  per coin ?
2. I have configured 3 accounts
 a Poloniex
b Bittrex
c Bittrex

It is always confused between b and c, is there any way to correctly configure this and use.

Still I think very good App and would like to be part of paid customer for this APP.

Generally a great app but I've got a few really bad problems.
1. Extremely slow chart actualization
2. I can't disable and see my orders for bitfinex
3. I've got a lot of trouble with binance. Sometimes it's work well sometimes I can't see my balances.. + timestamp failure

I really like this app. but sometimes it shows an incorrect price for the token. still very long loaded graphics, but otherwise very convenient application.

I use a lot of TabTrader to track the value of the entire cryptocurrency market and the coin I invest. TabTrader brings a pretty comprehensive view of a coin being traded on a number of trading sites and you can also trade right on the TabTrader but in my opinion you should not do so because sometimes I notice there is a delay relatively when trading on the TabTrader application. Take advantage of this application to better trade.

Where to read market depth charts on Tab Trader.  Tab Trader still don't have some features. there should be some feature to invest 10% , 25% 50% or 100% from total balance to any coin that we want.   Foxy Trader still loving easy to buy and sell and Read chart.

Its not difficult at all. I use tab trader to monitor my alt investments and you don't need to use your log in for the exchange you're using. There's a watchlist option that i use to check the coin price real time and it's customizable so you won't get confused about which coin is from which exchange.

I came to this topic after reading your post in the Arabic local board, I was looking for the other "victims" but I see nobody yet. I, however, did tag the account for now (although it has been inactive), the app has been there for nearly 5 years, it has 45,755 reviews on Google Play (most are positive), so your accusation here is a bit weak, as I explained in the local board you should show some evidence, those need to be sent to Google Play as well, I mean tens of thousands of people use this app if what you claim is true, then the amount scammed will be pretty HUGE and the number of victims will be massive (sadly)

I will keep the tag for a while, I will remove it if they respond or if a few days pass without anyone else besides you accuse them of scam.

I will copy paste what I wrote in the original message of this user.

For everyone concerned:
1) This individual is the only one had this issue out of hundreds of thousands of users. If there was an issue in the app, scammers would have used this vulnerability multiple times. Why scam one person if you could scam all of the users. Just doesn't make sense.

[For full disclosure 2 of his mates also from the same African country reported this issue. Maybe it is the same person just with multiple reports: one in the app, one via email, one in our telegram group. Anyway we are talking to all 3 of them in best faith trying to help.]

2) Preliminary investigation showed that this user has compromised his credentials somewhere.

3) But we believe it is unfair to go reporting that such an established and reputable app is a scam without any proof. Moreover we are trying to help him understand what happened the very same moment.

More will unfold later.

Just for the record, I do tend to believe what you saying is correct, in regards to the probability of his "compromised credentials" and it can be found in my previous reply.

I was looking for the other "victims" but I see nobody yet. But why would you say this

For full disclosure 2 of his mates also from the same African country reported this issue.

Why are you revealing your client's information that is unnecessary for this matter and is PRIVATE? is that how you handle your clients' information?

I will remove the tag since you did respond and since I see no more victims, but I would like to see what does the community thinks about you revealing this information in a terrible manner.

So I will urge everyone to do quick research and Watch YouTube videos on how to link those accounts: here is a quick one on YouTube: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://m.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3DpAwb-rnDIHI&ved=2ahUKEwiD-Kr2k_joAhXrBGMBHQQsB4kQwqsBMAl6BAgGEAQ&usg=AOvVaw3RNkRPFLySce_OnqW6aBxb

I don't know if someone already had asked it here, isn't connecting our exchange account a very threat to our funds?

I haven't read any complaints from a victim but I'm not sure there were lots of users who recommended this program as well. My phones have tons of wallets I installed already so connecting my account is a huge hole to its vulnerability.

You bind API keys from your account, not account credential itself.
In API keys config you can choose that *this* key isn't able to withdraw funds, it can only trade.
