I don't care about login info or hashrate redirected as much as I care about my wallet.dat being copied and/or stolen.

Unfortunately we can not publish the source code. You can track the behavior of the program and with WireShark and ProcessExplorer to make sure that there are no malicious instructions. We never stole Bitcoins from our users and even paid extra in case of failure on our side.
crazyates, We recommend you do not store wallet unencrypted, even on your mining rig.

The concern is that a "random program", which to this community is anything that is not specifically trusted or open source can install malware, keyloggers, trojans etc.

Even if the wallet was stored encrypted a keylogger can easily track your password, then copy away the wallet.dat and easily have access to all of one's coins.

no source code = no users until someone gets it and checks it out

Now we prefer to maintain application proprietary.
In the future,  then we will make a new miner, 50miner source will be open.

Majority of bitcoin mining software gets Flagged by AntiVirus software because at one point there was a 10gh bot net of compromised cpu/gpus.

That may be, but without source code available, unlike all other mining software, one will be far more suspicious.
