Title: A Bump-like Mobile Bitcoin Wallet?
Post by: Mr. Coinman on September 25, 2012, 09:19:16 AM
I had an interesting idea the other day about using the technology found in the "Bump (http://itunes.apple.com/app/bump/id305479724?mt=8)" app on the Android and iOS platform for Bitcoin transactions in a mobile wallet app. It would work like this: If Person A wanted to send 1 BTC to Person B, they would both bump phones, and Person A would enter the amount of bitcoins he wants to send on his phone, then Person B decides which address they would like the bitcoins to be sent to on their own phone. Person A hits send and then all is said and done. Both the sender and receiver then would have the option to save each other to their address book.

Would it be possible to use the Bump API (http://bu.mp/company/api) to accomplish something like this? I'd love to hear everyone's (especially developers) thoughts!  ;)
