Dear all

Now you can top up / recharge your prepaid, postpaid mobiles or pay DTH bills using bitcoins right from your mobile using zebpay app.
At the moment it is available only on Android app, iOs app update coming next week.



Steps :
1. Open zebpay app. If you do not have zebpay Download now. (http://dl.zebpay.com)
2. Go to Mobile recharge from FAB ( + ) button.
3. Select Prepaid, Postpaid or DTH
4. Enter mobile number or DTH account number and select operator ( Idea, Vodafone, TataSky etc )
5. Enter recharge/topup denomination. Make sure this amount is supported by your operator.
6. Hit recharge button and system will show you equivalent btc that will be debited from your account for this recharge.
7. Confirm and enter pin on next screen and voila, you got your recharge :)

Notes :
1. You can recharge your registered zebpay number or any active Indian mobile number or DTH connnection.
2. Postpaid recharge will be reflected in your postpaid account within 24 hours by your operator.
3. Airtel supported now.
4. Data card, Boradband, Landline coming soon.
5. Global carriers coming soon.
6. Cellone ( BSNL ) postpaid does not support partial payments.

Are the prices flat preev rates or you have some extra fees on mobile recharge? And a silly question, can we withdraw bitcoins from Zebpay once deposited?

Prices are determined by zebpay depending on our stock availability. You will get exact amount of bits that will be debited from your account before proceeding with the order.

bitcoin deposited in your account are your bitcoins and you can withdraw them anytime subject to 200$ per transaction limit. We are adding features to support larger transactions.

Does mobile recharge require KYC too ?

Normally, rate in mobile recharge should be same as our sell rate and it changes frequently depending on market, our stock and few other factors. Generally we try to provide best available rate in market.

No, it does not require KYC. We MAY ask for KYC if your order size is greater than 10,000 per month or we have a reason to ask for KYC.

Thanks for kind words. As far insurance concerns, We use a very reputed third party wallet to store most of our coins having multisig insured wallet.
