Title: Nvidia Cards
Post by: zoltan99 on June 02, 2011, 03:23:45 PM
Not a real problem, but why are NVIDIA cards so utterly terrible at mining? I'm running quad sli 295's (two cards) and getting about 210Mh.
Would anyone care to explain the difference between ati and NVIDIA cards here? I would be very grateful.

Quit being rude to everyone, even though you have a point, you were new here too at some point.
Everyone needs a little guidance. Were all miners, so lend a hand.

To answer your questions (somewhat):
  • CUDA/opencl support
  • just the nature of the cores and how they are built
  • slower processing power compared to ATI
