I know that android phones are not secure unless you take some safety measures. Never install any app if it is not authorized from google play store or it has not huge popularity. After reading the article I can say one thing and it is the fact that google will always try to protect android users and they have already published patches for android phones.

It's a risk, but iPhones are not completely secure either.
