Which websites are good places to invest your bitcoins into? I got 0.1 BTC ready to invest, so please tell me good suggestion.

NO PONZI, NO SCAM sites please, i want legit and good return investment sites :)

You can profit investing .1btc but that is really low like you will only get few satoshis profit in investment however you can try buying new coins and wait for its price to rise and sell them :)

Nowhere. Come back in a decade. Anyone who tells you otherwise either lucked out with one of the astonishingly rare exceptions that didn't fail and wasn't run by psychopathic teenagers or, far more likely, they're trying to con you out of your btc or be sucked into their own deluded investment fever.

And plenty of people will probably suggest gambling. Amazingly enough this is not considered a valid avenue for investment on the rest of planet Earth.

If I were you, I would buy a Full Member account here for 0.1, and then join signature campaign. You will get ROI within 2 weeks if you found the right signature campaign to join.

How about invest on gambling / casino dice which offered investment?

there's no more passive income style investment in bitcoin
either they are scam or ponzi type of "investment" :D
you need more active on your investment, like buy account for signature campaign and earn more bitcoin after posting constructive things in this forum

I think investing it will be risky, if I were you I'd rather hold my bitcoins and wait for the price to pump out or else I'll do lending and give loans to trusted users of this forum( or to anyone with a valid collateral)

Investing in gambling sites, can only make small incomes.
For example, I've invested 0.5 CLAM in JD before, and then wait 2 month, and only get 10% extra as return. Adding the price increase of CLAM during that period (but it is also a risk), my total gain is 20-30% during then. The income may not even outweigh the price decrease of the coins (though it may increase like my case). Consider what you can lose, because when the site gone, you will lose all your money..

A real bitcoin investment opportunity can be found at http://moneyinpjs.com/invest-bitcoin

You can contact the admin at admin@moneyinpjs.com if you have any questions about the offer.

Good luck and stay safe ;)
Yes, I have seen them before and it seems legit. However the owner of moneyinpjs have been banned here for so many times (someone here have listed out part of his accounts: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1110965.msg11803291#msg11803291). So we should deal with him with extreme caution.

the best active investments is signature campaign, buy an account to accelerate the waiting, otherwise you're already losing money for every day that you do not post with a senior or hero

for passive investments could be a bot that do faucets(resolve captcha) or a bot that do trading, or cloud mining, but usually those three are not very profitable

Ok but its not about earning bitcoins, i can earn 0.05 BTC/day easily, the problem is that what to do with those bitcoins?

Just let them stay in my wallet, or invest them and multiply them overtime. I`d rather choose the latter, eaning bitcoins is not enough, i must invest the earned ones to multiply them :)

Pure and simply you cannot trust anyone else with your bitcoins. End of.

You have to hand them over to 'invest'. Even the most well established companies, and there are a handful of very reputable ones, might not last forever and are big fat targets for a fatal hack.

Holding coins is potentially investment enough. Anything beyond that is too sketchy.

Dont invest. Just hold your bitcoins or you will lose coins. With bitcoin you are investing in the whole BTC-ecosystem. That should be enough  ;)

(and hold some Litecoins too  ;) )

Check post #13 again. OP is not looking for ways to earn bitcoin as he can earn 0.05 btc per day easily.
Instead, he wants to grow his already earned bitcoin over time.

What the...  :o You got this much profit and you complain? You got 120% per year + compounding. Thats a great  Profit. And in fact you even got more you say.

I don't understand you. With that attitude you ask for getting scammed since you should think about where these profits should come from. And when there would be a better business then surely investors would flow in and lower the profits fast.

You really should think over your demands. HYIP's aren't real and you sound like someone searching a HYIP.

When you really only have 0.5 Bitcoins then you should buy a good account and earn from posting on the forum. That's the only way i can imagine for you.

The most secure investment that you can have for your bitcoins is to put them in your wallet and not to move them for at least 10-15 years. All the other investments you will hear here, all the links with several colors you will find here or elsewhere with mos probability can make your bitcoins gone forever. maybe you will earn something somewhere but it will be only occasionally and only momentarily. They will be lost in a second moment for sure. This is my personal experience. Today are very rare the places when you can have good opportunities to multiply your bitcoins. And to be honest for the moment i don't know anyone.

I cannot change any word to this post. You can try several sites (including gambling) but the results, at the end, will be the same. You will lose your bitcoins. You are free to not believe me and are free to invest your bitcoins in various sites which will find here or at another threads. But you are warned!! The only way to increase your bitcoins it is to buy those. save some money from time to time and use those to buy bitcoins.

IMO bitcoin mining isnt profitable these days, you will only recieve negative profit as for the electricity cost but if you have free electricity you may mine but it will take months or a year before you reach ROI

Yes, there is a lot of truth in your words. The best and safest investment is... NOT to invest.

If you invest then you can get all the great returns each year. It doesn't matter since you only can get into profit when you at least got your investment back. And that is a very unsure thing.

So the best and safest investment is NOT to invest.

But this thread was open to ask for investment sites, that other people use, so i dont care about risk advices here, trust me i know the risks.

Here are a couple of ways to get started:

1) Loan your bitcoin (https://bitcoinnewsmagazine.com/earn-20-interest-on-your-bitcoin/) to margin traders and earn about 25% per year. Risk: low
2) Buy the most profitable contract (https://bitcoinnewsmagazine.com/how-to-profit-with-bitmain-hashnest/) at Hashnest and hold until the uptrend changes. When you sell the contract you get the profit plus mining income you have been accumulating. Risk: low

Investing your bitcoin anywhere is risky there are too many different factors affecting the outcome of your investment. The state of the economy and the comment themselves for a start. Just be real freaking careful out there

Ah man either you guys are fucking blind or you just spam for signature campaigns.

I specifically said in first post that i want websites (with example URL) where I can invest bitcoins into. Yet guys here write about altcoin trading!

Guys I know about altcoin trading I earn 0.02 /day with it, what I want is an investment site where I can further invest for passive income.

So that I can put my earnings in a passive investment site without me having to manage that, because active management requires alot of research, and also to not have all eggs in one basked.

Diversification of investments is always wise.

the only other thing is cloudmining as a passive income, or a bot that can resolve captcha for faucets, there aren't any other alternative for passive income, the rest is pure gambling and too much risk

and in any case the profit will be very low and not worth it

Most 'inestment' sites are just ponzi scams. Do your due dilligence and dont forget. If it sounds too good to be true, its probably is.

Investing your Bitcoins can be pretty risky. Of course there are several options out there which can be used. Is it gambling, investing in alts, giving out loans etc.
IF you really want to try one of the things out do your self a favour and only use a very small amount. As I said right now the risk is pretty high that you might lose. So don't be naive and greedy. Read and inform yourself as good as possible.

Although there is no guarantee in any bitcoin investment of not being scammed but there are few famous ones which have been running from long time and i believe reasonable:

Satoshidice: https://www.satoshidice.com/
Safedice: https://safedice.com/
Moneypot: https://www.moneypot.com/

If i were at your Place i would keep the coins with me as there is always a danger of loosing coins as one think of investing , moreover you can buy a forum account with that 0.1BTC and let the account grow in rank and sell it after it is at good potential for reasonable BTC.

Never really thought about buying accounts as an investment. I dont particularly agree with the sale of accounts but its for sure one of the least risk 'investments' that you could make.

Its not because i specifically asked for an investment website.

Gosh man, read the OP atleast before responding to a thread. The loan business requires too much micromanagement, which i have no time for unfortunately. The trading business is anyway more profitable than loaning, and less time consuming.

However I just want a lean back & profit type of site.

The casino investment suggestions are appreciated and good, thanks guys, i`ll look into that.

But the thread doesnt end here, any new suggestion is still welcome, so keep them coming :)

NO PONZI, NO SCAM sites please, i want legit and good return investment sites :)

Edit: Give website links please, most of you just give vague examples, i want concrete websites listed here that I can choose from!

i personally invest my bitcoins in altcoin trading markets. because there are good opportunities for making more bitcoin from trading some altcoins.

the exchangers that i prefer are bittrex and cryptcy because of them being easy to use and no bullshit registration like what polo is asking for.

You could invest your 0.1 BTC by depositing them on an exchange that allows you to lend them out, such as Poloniex. You won't get rich, but the current rates are ~0.1 - 0.2 % daily, which would work out to around 36.5-73% yearly. Of course this is simple interest and does not include compounding, so your actual return would be a bit higher.

I should also add that the rate can vary quite a bit over time, so while it is passive income in a sense, as you can set your offers to auto renewal, you would want to keep some eye on it as rates do change often. An recent example was with the Ethereum launch, interest rates were over 1% daily for awhile as speculators went long.

Bitfinex also allows lending, but except for USD their returns are somewhat lower than Poloniex.

You mean buy the swaps? I think its not wise, because swaps give the ability for traders to short-sell bitcoin, with leverage, which highly immoral and toxic for bitcoin.

The ability for somebody to be able to short sell bitcoin is the problem here, that might destroy bitcoin's price one day.

Flash crash... We dont have a central bank to pump up the price lol.

True, BTC doesn't have a central bank, but also you can't just print an unlimited amount of BTC out of thin air either.

I have provided BTC loans on Poloniex for a few months now and haven't had experienced any issues. I guess if your philosophy is against it than this isn't for you, but does come close to meeting your passive income with fairly minimal risk.

In btcjam the possible profit is low but possible losses of your money is very high, even when you get paid, if a single borrower defaulted to pay you will lose more than what you earned from previous profits

i think recommend most of the links on that thread outside a few.

one of them is btcjam, you`ll have mixed feelings since some have  lost their coins due to people just not paying back.

the other one is bitfnex which their current services are down and wont continue anytime soon.

Well they work like any other liquidity swap.

You lend money to the guys who want to use margin trading (leveraged accounts) and i think you win in both cases even if they win or lose.

Until they use leverages i think the funds are safe, but the interest on it will depend i think on how much loan they take. Of course the price will vary, so there will be volatility, but not much.

They are usually a safer instrument but it all depends how the exchange handles things around, there might be many hidden risks with it, so make sure you read their risk statements.

No experience with Poloniex, but plenty with Bitfinex... here goes...

I don't keep money at Bitfinex on a permanent basis. The rate for BTC swaps (you lend your BTC to a trader who wants to short BTC) is usually pretty low, lower (usually) than the rate for USD swaps (I know nothing about LTC swaps. Hell, I know next to nothing about LTC). Take a look at the second graph on this page (https://bfxdata.com/swaphistory/btc) - particularly with longer time frames (12 months to "all time"). You can see the "FRR" (the variable rate) occasionally spikes up high, then very quickly falls back about 50%, then slowly continues to decline (to around 0.0055%). (That's a daily rate, by the way - multiply by 365.25 for an approximation of the annual equivalent).

The way I use swaps is to keep my money away most of the time, watch the FRR, and prepare to pile in some (a fraction) of my BTC if the FRR spikes, and get out once the rate falls to around 25% of the peak. Over time I've achieved an average slightly under 10% annual. Which isn't great, but is way better than I could get with fiat in a local bank, and looks comparable to BTC-Jam. In my view the risk is less than BTC-Jam - Bitfinex take on the risk. However, there is still the risk that the exchange itself fails, or takes my money and runs.

FRR is variable - if you loan out money on FRR you'll get higher payments if the rate goes up. I don't advise you do this. Everyone does - and the result is there's a metric shed-load of BTC sitting, un-loaned, at the FRR. Instead I recommend setting your own - fixed rate. Take a look at the top graph on this page (https://bfxdata.com/swapstats/btc) and set your rate appropriately. Use low durations at first - two days max. In fact always use low durations unless the rate is exceptional (0.1%+ is my benchmark, but I'm seriously thinking about raising it). Incidentally, that duration isn't guaranteed - borrowers can repay loans early, and will do so, particularly if the FRR is falling and they believe they can get a cheaper loan.

Bitfinex lives and dies on its trading engine - not on swaps, though obviously swaps help with liquidity and keep trading going. However, it does mean that if the trading engine is buggy worry. Their trading engine looks to me to be buggy as hell. Compare BTC/USD rates at Bitfinex with other exchanges, and you'll see a serious disparity during the crash a few weeks back - most exchanges stayed above $200, 'finex went well below. That's probably largely due to margin calls, but while the crash was happening there were multiple reports from traders about trading issues and withdrawal issues (to be fair, I had no problem withdrawing - I think only traders were affected). I started slowly withdrawing all my remaining BTC at that point, missing a large spike in the FRR a few days later - c'est la vie, and at least I still have my BTC. Bitfinex is still in beta (like everything online these days), but they are backed - apparently - by a registered company (mind you, wasn't Enron a registered company?!)

tl;dr: the return isn't great, there is a risk of the exchange failing, and to get the best rates you need to proactively manage your loans. However, you don't need to worry about collateral from the counter-party - Bitfinex do that for you. Is it worth it? I don't know. I kinda suspect I'd have made as much if I'd invested the same amount of time playing with faucets. I strongly suspect that if I'd spent the time earning fiat I could have bought more BTC instead.

Its not gambling, you invest in the house. They give you a % share of what the house earns.

You can gamble too, but these are casinos specifically for investment purposes.

Its like a long term bond.

If I find the thread again ill link it here, but about their loan services, on the investors side it sucks. I mean most of the stories I heard was some guy was never paid back etc, etc.

But the person showed a screen capture on the spread btc amounts to see, and overall maybe like a few at most recouped and the rest scammed and ran away w. the btc.

Which even the most legit ones its hard to make money, cause most people see it as a negative view etc with the pyramid scheme comments.

I want to try to invest in a gambling site. I had three options. Just-dice, Bitdice or Moneypot? which one is better in your opinion?

There are more than just that 3, check the first post, and choose from those too.

I havent tried out those, but maybe later I will.  I am more interested now in Bitplutos's anonymous binary option platform, it seems pretty cool.

yeah I know there are many options above, I just wanted to take away from the site I have ever played.
binary so good but i cant play it :D
gambling site is not investing guys,
if you know how the gambling site is based on luck, if you're not lucky, then you will lose your bitcoin deposit.

Its not gambling, you invest in the house. They give you a % share of what the house earns.

You can gamble too, but these are casinos specifically for investment purposes.

Its like a long term bond.
so you must buy a some shares to get dividens?
and when you bored you can gamble it?

Exactly.

MLM is heavily all rely on recruiting, new blood. Just avoid it.

Which even the most legit ones its hard to make money, cause most people see it as a negative view etc with the pyramid scheme comments.

Looks more like a ponzi scheme to me, all these cloud mining sites are smelling badly like ponzi schemes. With a few excaptions of course.

The part I still don't understand is why if a gambling site is profitable would they want to share the winnings?  I would think they would want to cover their own bankroll.   Just on real casinos they cover their own action..... seems like online would follow that.

Can you say why they would share this profit if they are sure they are going to make a profit?   I don't get it.

I have no idea i`m not a casino owner/manager, and havent even invested in one yet.

But my opinion is that, it is probably working like a stock company.

So for example they need the investor's funds to cover the bankroll, whereas if they have for example 2% house edge, they keep half of it as their own profit.

While they distribute the other half amongst the investors, but it's only the investors that risk their money and the casino owners dont.

So this way the casino owner can setup a casino with 0 bitcoin, attract tons of investors and gamblers, and whenever a lucky player wins a jackpot only the investors lose money.

Basically they eliminate all the risk for the casino owner, at the expense of sharing half or 60-70% of the profits. Actually if you check their information page they will explain something similar to you.

And those casinos are really old and big ones, they profit 1000's of bitcoin daily, so the risk of scam or running bust is almost 0, while this can offer a stable long term investment for investors, and a risk free operation of a casino.

Or atleast this is what I understood from the info that they put out in ther sites.

+ a huge bankroll attracts more gamblers, and it is unlikely that the casino owners can come up with so huge bankrolls without investors

Try not trading every 5 min candlestick.

Forex is not a market where you can trade profitable every knee-jerk reaction of the market.

Look for more like weekly, monthly timeframes, thats where the big bucks are. Anything lower is just market manipulation.

Honestly, I salute everyone that has balls to invest their bitcoins anywhere at the moment. There are just too many scams, too many pencil and the risk is huge for a very little reward. I know many people in this thread won't like this post, but the truth is just that.

Keep your bitcoins in the cold storage for the investment. Have another wallet for daily spending and some bitcoins in it, of you are buying and paying with bitcoins of course, as you should be doing at.

And enroll into a signature campaign, help people on this forum and earn small, but sure and risk free income.

Just my two cents!

Not really, there are more sites that offer higher reward than risk. (including hidden risk too)

Yea there are many scams, but if you look for more established sites that run for 2-3 years you will find some stability there.

Every post I saw about bitplutos had the word scam in it. Has anyone playied and been able to withdraw? They also seem to be having an obscure withdrawal procedure where you're only able to withdraw to the address you deposited from and you even have to contact the owners to be able to have your withdrawal processed.

I don't trust any of them...I'll make more bitcoins through trading, if I lose some, at least I know why.  Many 'mining' sites are just funneling your btc to the next person who signs up & says they're hashing for it.

Zeusminer has been selling hardware succesfully but it's impossible to ROI through their cloud mining project that's apparently still running. The fees exceed the earnings by far, don't buy/rent hash there.

Any other investment websites?

Keep your bitcoins in a cold storage with strong encryption by a password.
Because bitcoin itself a good investment. If you want to multiply your bitcoins do a bitcoin based service and get your profits in bitcoin.

Check my website : http://InvestBitcoinGuide.com
No Ponzi, no HYIP, only trusted and recognized services. I list them with a honest explanation and review.
Invest only what you can afford to lose but remember, "scary money don't make money".
Nevertheless, as said before, buy and hold strategy is already an investment. 8)

Ain't no such thing as a risk-free investment.

The closest thing to a risk-free investment is a government bond (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Risk-free_bond) where the risk is considered so small as to be negligible.

As soon as transfer control of our assets to someone else there's a risk that they'll default in some way. That's as true of governments and multinational corporations as it is of some random dude on the internet (though the risk itself, while always present, would probably be considered to be far higher in the latter case).

I agree..."without risk" is certainly not talking about risks who can end this system...
I hope not, because if then...the risk is more painful for myself...
If you wake up ...it's a risk too...
And if you do not wake up it is a risk too...
What is really risk free?
If you see risk every where you will for exemple never buy advertising or something because you have risk that the site closes after your payment and efore you get what you bought...

If Im not mistaken months ago I saw some massive complaints and negative feedback about that lending site in our local bitcoin facebook groups. It is still on first page. You might want to consider to recheck it so those beginners that will enter this thread will not registered quickly in the site.

Absolutely - I'm definitely not saying "don't invest", I'm just calling out the idea that an investment can be risk-free (and, related to that, that we should probably regard claims to the contrary with the utmost caution).

With the link I gave you,the rewards does not only depend on the risk.
The reward depends mainly on the income from the start-up.
If you invest to much, the risk is just that your ROI will be very low.
It's not only an investment site but as well a game where you can win more or less but never nothing.
But it is clear that investing for almost nothing is not interesting.
So people chose by themselves if it is interesting or not.
People follow the profit progress and do what they believe is the best for themselves.

Yes. OP must update it's list.

Anyways not all sites listed there are promising scam sites lol. There are still a risk sites that worth to try like those under the casino investment specifically just-dice and moneypot. I invested in both sites bankroll 2 months from now and Im gaining a profit a little but it's ok as long as it gain profit.

In those listed cloudmining, I think Hashnest is the only one there that somehow not a ponzi scheme. It just have longer ROI.

Another one you should add is crypto-games.net in gambling bankroll investment, although they have a low bankroll(~80 btc) they have cold wallet proof of it and have been paying investors since they started. And what exactly you want me to update on the list. I got no new info since then.

BTCjam is not scam but people there is the one. So I can't consider that site as "Good Websites". You can take a look here.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=605994.60

The problem is BTCJam does nothing to help go after people who default on a loan.  The give the people who loaned the info of other person... so not super great.

Most likely you would have to do legal action to get paid back if a default.  But there are some bad things you might have loaned to someone in another country, so that would be pricey with lawyer.  Again even if in same country getting it done could cost a lawyer, and that does not guarantee you get it back.

I think BTCJam needs to completely redo defaults for me to ever invest there.

What exactly? Sue them for a 10$ loan? :D

A lawyer costs at least 400-500$, and if he gets one too, then even more as the process lengthens. It's a zero sum game and then the lawyers will be the ones that really steal your money. :D

Those scammers are clever none have borrowed more than 2 BTC, so it would not be cost-effective to go after them.

Sorry but people should be more careful where to put their money.

The point here is to modify the first page of the thread. How come the thread title is Safe Website to Invest if there such a risky websites there like BTCjam.

Hey ya, hate to repeat myself but seems you didn't notice me.
As you are adding binary options to the list as well, maybe include secondstrade here is their thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=813554.0 they have been here since a year.
Another one you should add is crypto-games.net in gambling bankroll investment, although they have a low bankroll(~80 btc) they have cold wallet proof of it and have been paying investors since they started. Here is their thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=750760.0 , they too have been here since over an year.

Do not forget about btcjam.com

Not the best loan site, but it needs to be on it all the same.

That is not the title, the title is "Good websites" , that doesnt necessarly mean safe, it means that they have an opportunity where you could make money.

Nothing is guaranteed to be safe nor profitable.

Ok I got it, added secondstrade, i realy forgot about it, yet i even weared their signature once.

The cryptogame site is nothing about investment, its just a gambling site. I want here a catalog of investment sites not gambling, they dont even offer casino investment programs.

What those website is? How it works?

Each one would work different.  There is not one way they all work.  There are some I would avoid.

First lending as it is really hard to get the money back if they default, I suggest staying clear of it.   Second one that just jumped out to me was
Casino Investment.   I would also avoid casinos in general as a investment.  Just not enough regulation.

I'm sure there are more that are ones I don't agree with, but everyone has different factors they want.  I would make sure before any of them to do your own research.  I strongly push for new people to do research before investing.

Good opinions, but every investment can be safe if you risk little amounts.

I would certainly not put all my savings in a mining contract or similar.

It does lesson the risk of losing a lot but I see problems.  A lot of scams start out paying out... so that first payment the small one you might ROI on.  Then some will expand and it craps out from being a scam.   A lot sadly have done this where first in got money and last in got taken for a ride.

And loans I just don't like as getting  money from a default seems pretty hard.  Even BTCJam you would think would have a unit or something to help with it... but they just release the persons info to you and expect you to take whatever legal route there is.  If a website actually took a role in helping get defaulted money back they could easily take over as best site to loans at.

Well I just checked satoshidice:

3613.54081797 BTC liquid cash = 1.3 MILLION $

They can run away with it any second now, yet they havent in the past 3 years (and back in 2013 that was worth much more).

So I think that is just paranoia, I think Satoshidice is very safe, and trustworthy.

As for the other sites? I have no clue, I havent used them, but I tried satoshidice once.

Chances are will they? No they are running profitable... so they do not want to ruin that.  It is a true money making venture.

I like a little more regulation then what gambling sites provide.  But not everyone wants that so it all depends on your risk your willing to do on investments.

If you are really referring to cryptoboost, I do not recommend it since its is a PONZI site! You should not invest on ponzis cuz of the high risk. Just my two cents ::)

I dont think they can get away with stoling that much.

Your little regulation wont help at all in that case. Either they steal it and they get away with it (hard to believe) or they get caught.

Either way your regulation wont help at all, only the police after they get caught if they do it.

So your regulation has no benefits, but it can definitely scare away many gamblers as their privacy would be hurt.

No i dont think any regulation is needed here.

You'll probably avoid them cuz if you'll take a look on their website, you can see there are currently only 6 active and unpaid investments ;D Not a good sign for a ponzi that runs for almost a month. They will collapse in a few days or maybe later ::)

Anyways ,in general, people should avoid ponzis.

This article shows why I personally would not be investing in a casino - http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-poker-site-operator-to-pay-25000-fine/

Just dodging regulation to run the site if done wrong you get in big trouble.  It's not a small deal operating a casino if you are operating in a place with laws.  Most try to go to places to dodge these laws on hosting.

Satoshidice doesnt allow US based gamblers, and to my knowledge there arent any strict gambling laws  elsewhere, especially not where I live.

But that article you put out just proves the opposite. That guy got fined because the big oligarch casinos dont like competition and they used regulation to kick them out.

So with your example you just proved how corrupt regulation is and how evil political tool can it be ( ban of BTC in Taiwan rings a bell?)

You have to understand this

regulation =/= bigger transparency

regulation = controlled by corrupt entities

You know some people are using VPN's and Proxy's to get through to satoshidice.  But blocking US I would agree gives them better chance of not being taken down.

How are the laws in Europe and China on gambling sites online?  Just curious if anyone lives there and knows if legal/illegal.

What country are you in realbitcoin is I can ask?  I do admit I am more familiar with us, many other countries I don't know as well I am not a lawyer.

If they are using proxy then to my knowledge (I`m not a lawyer) they are not liable, because that guy broke their TOS.

In europe its much lighter regulation, and where I live its practically nonexistent, well except the KYC policies, but nothing like fixed payout % and bullshit like that.

And I really find stupid these  extra regulations, because for once they are just a burden, and for second, they create a vehicle for corruption and selective enforcement.

Who is regulating the regulator of the regulator? You get the point. Less regulation = less corruption.

Have had decent luck using peerbet the couple of times I've tried it.

Regarding cex.io mining contracts, not sure but you might want to update OP (they have been disabled for months, and are running on 2W/GH gear so likely to be for foreseeable future as it looks like BTC has to be well above $600/coin before they will be profitable again).

Hopefully, we have FCA regulated binary options bitcoin brokers in UK (https://www.misteroption.com/en-gb/) and in the whole Europe trough MifiD regulation, that is not the case in the US...

Yes I`m fascinated by it, I have read past articles mentioning it, and it was a big hit in 2011, as half of bitcoin was literally Satoshidice as most transactions was processed there by gamblers.

It is still one of the biggest gambling sites and I see that a new slot machine was added, so that can make gamblers more interested in it.

It is really nice to see big and succesful businesses that give meaning to Bitcoin, good luck with it!

You have to understand this

regulation =/= bigger transparency

regulation = controlled by corrupt entities

This is the reason I think bitcoin will struggle the most in developed nations. Not to get off topic though this is 100% true. Las Vegas Companies are the ones that fight these things the hardest because they're usually the ones with the most to loose. Bitcoin gambling sites aren't the first ones to have to deal with this.

I don't think bitcoin will struggle as far as value just because of gambling.  As far as the big casinos they actually are amazing they not only have Vegas/Reno some are going to indian reservations and starting casinos with some big names behind it.  There are lots of "legit" gambling if that is your thing.

I think bitcoin is more of a currency... so I think it's not going to be effected unless BTC was regulated due to gaming.  As of now it's just the gaming site/operater who is being regulated.  And really blocking US IP's is not going to stop the true gamblers on btc.

i think investment of bitcoins is not a good thinking .
many times happened that a trustable looking site
became a worthless and useless by stoping thier job of investment thats results into loss of all of your btc instead of some profit
if i was at your place then i will purchase a full member account for 0.1btc instead of investment.

For your info, investing bitcoin is not always investing it in a website.

Investing btc's is like investing money. BTC to Business , BTC to Trades and etc.

And for buying an account here with your btc, still it can consider an investment.

you are right my friend . you can earn a good amount of bitcoins through investment there are many sites that gives a  valuable amount of btc profit for investment but sometimes investment causes a big loss . that depends upon the profit of that site .
i had also lost my 0.3btc instead of profit due to stopping of investment site.

Sad to hear that.

Well step up and make another journey to your btc earnings. Forget investing in those "promising" site that will gave you high returns. Work for it rather than hoping for an automatic returns. There are lots of worth to try method out there.

You were scammed. Its not because the site closed, but because the guys run away with the bitcoins.

You should open a scam report about it.

what are those site that give you a valuable return for your investment, even 5% months is most likely a scam nowadays, unless they give you peanuts i'm not going to touch them ever

i did lost quite a bit with those posnzi scam already, better to go with something reliable where you invest your time, which is more abundant than your money

I still don't understand how people can suggest gambling!
I mean come on guys, you do know that the main principle of gambling is that the bank always win no?

But still people gamble and try to build strategies and things like that... That's dumb as hell. Gamble if you want, but don't expect to "break the rules of maths" and find a safe way to gamble. You will lose in the end. It'x just made this way.

Gambling is for fun, but you can win too.

But in this thread I`m talking about investment opportunities, not gambling. Those sites offer investments in their bankroll.

I also don't know why do people even recommend gambling to other users. Gambling is just a way to lose your money and not an investment at all.

For investing bitcoins, there are no trustworthy websites as all promise to give you a good profit but at the end there is a high risk to lose the investment. Since bitcoins are itself not recognized, the investment opportunities also have the same fate.

There is another form of gambling which is really worth to try and that is Bitcoin Exchange Trading.

I suggest this method to my colleagues and some average bitcoiner here but some of them seems this method as a boring one. Sigh.

With the proper execution they didn't know they can get good earnings here.

Yes of course there is risk here but there are ways to minimize the loss just in case.

Sorry I didn't got it clearly what you are talking about but it is same like  betking.io.They have that margin multiplier system by which you can control off the risk .

From Bitvest help section:-

"You may also invest on margin to have a higher risk and reward on your investment. You may invest or divest your funds instantly at any time, and you may invest with a margin of up to 500% or 15% (3% base * 5) max risk."

If I were you, I would buy a Full Member account here for 0.1, and then join signature campaign. You will get ROI within 2 weeks if you found the right signature campaign to join.

You nailed it. Thats a good idea that you will earn more money. But there are some campaign i dont want to mention the names which pay less. You have to make sure you join on the right place. but most of the campaign pay very good where you will good chances of earning as well as learn more about bitcoin.

It's rather sad though. In the past, even newbies could join campaigns and got paid a pretty good amount. Nowadays, forum is spammed to death with low quality posts like one-liners. Posting can be fun if you do good posts, but occasionally I have a 0 post day. I burst every now and then because something interesting pops up. The old days were good, but they're gone. Also, sticking with the derivative theme, Coinut do vanilla options as well as binary. As far as I know they're still the only site offering vanillas

Hope your way not makes other people follow than lose their money fast, trading is best way although the amount you get not much bigger.

With trading you can make trading losses, and you're also exposed to the risk that the exchange collapses (or runs away with your money). Profitable trading relies on skill, and a significant amount of time.

Alternatively, when investing in a casino's bankroll you're not exposed to trading losses, solely to the risk of the casino collapsing (or running away with your money). The casino does all the hard-work, calculating odds etc - it doesn't require skill or time. (IMO this is the only smart way to go near gambling - be the casino, not the punter).

Yes even though gambling sites were somehow trusted still people has a chance of losing their money on it because it is a gambling.

Now and certainly for a while,it is only possible to invest for free in my U2cloudmining system.
if you are doubtful then claim for free and sell so you will reach fast the 10000 satoshi minimum payout.
But if you want earn more and if you are not in a hurry...just claim for free normal shares and VIPshares.
Time to time destroy VIPshares if the bonus is very high.
if you have pending cash...you can re-invest it...with a bonus as well.

Is there any reason to think that investing in a casino's bankroll is any more (or less) risky than having BTC deposited at, say, an exchange? (Genuine question - I've had money at exchanges plenty of times, but never invested in a bankroll).

Depends what exchange.

If it's like cryptsy or bter then its risky, but if its like coinbase or poloniex then its less risky.

I think most gambling sites, the big ones (satoshidice, primedice, etc.) are pretty safe and low risk.

If I`d have to give them a risk rating I`d give them B- (given that their support system is not that good + anonymous)

But if you are risk averse then just keep the coins in a cold wallet, you dont have to invest if you dont want to.

Quote from FAQ (https://www.crypto-games.net/faq.aspx):

Quote
Investment
We offer you a chance to invest in our house bankroll. With investing, you increase the bankroll and the maximum profit per bet. Over the long run the profit is 0.8% of total wagered amount.
But the profit is not guaranteed, because of the variance. In the short run you can still lose your cryptocurrencies. With investment you earn your proportionate share of funds.

Example: Let's say that there's one investor with 9 Bitcoins, and you invested 1 bitcoin. Total bankroll is 10 Bitcoins and you own 10% of the bankroll. Then a player comes and loses 1 Bitcoin.
You receive 0.1 Bitcoin and the other investor gets 0.9 Bitcoin. Assume that one player wins 1 Bitcoin, consequently you will lose 0.1 Bitcoin and the other investor will lose 0.9 Bitcoin.

We don't charge you any entry or exit fee, but we take 20% of profit that is made in 1 hour interval. Profit is kept on investment account. If you don't make any profit, you don't pay any commission.
Investment can be cancelled after 24 hours. Minimum investment amounts are: 0.01 Bitcoin, 0.5 Ether, 1 Dash, 1 Litecoin, 20.000 Dogecoin, 10 Peercoin, 500 GameCredits and 1000 GridCoin.

Any more websites? C`mon there must be more reputable websites out there.

I`m looking for websites that are at least 1 year old and have many investors, and larger investment pools.

That should lower their risks of being scams, especially if they operate over 1 year, most scams last 1-2 weeks, especially ponzi scams in the /Micro Earning sections.

I dont want ponzi scams, only real investment sites with high trust rating.

Yeah I would agree with you But you can find a site like BTCjam, Btcpop and more. where you invest you bitcoins and make interest per week or monthly. most of the people have chances to get a loan. that interest will give you more than 1000$ monthly.

In addition not every loan will be paid because most of them are defaulter. When dealing to this you better have to review the persons trust and feedbacks like if he has a current loan or a previous defaulted loan.

Be very careful I don't invest with BTCJam is if the person defaults they give you their info, and wish you luck on getting your money back.  I think they need to have a part of company that helps users go after those who default, as it could be international or pricy to go after the person.  I think as of now if someone defaults your chances of getting back are slim.

You have to ask who would use a site like this with big interest rates?  The anwser I think is those who could not get from regular means, or those who intend on defaulting.

So personally I stay away from sites lie BTCJam, and suggest others do the same.

Yeah in the last two days its up 4 btc in profit, an since February its earned 29 btc with a total 37 btc in profit since October 29th 2015.
Its owned by the same people who own 777coin.com. but don't think the word has fully gotten out about it yet.

The best investments right now is in start ups.

But mostly gambling sites its a good way to get a large investment doubled with in a few months.
Most are normally safe but it better to not sink everything into one.
Spread your investment so you have a nice portfolio.

so many startups fail after a short time. I would not consider startups as a save investment, it's high risk to low/medium return.

Only for the cloud mining sites.
You might make some but they are selling you those contracts to basically pay off those miners.
So they are making a decent profit while you're making very little.

Gambling and investing in gambling sites are two very different things. Investing in a gambling site is analogous to holding Ladbrokes stock (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ladbrokes) (receiving a dividend, voting at AGMs, etc); gambling is analogous to wagering that same stock on the roll of a dice.

I like a number of these sites to invest in, but they are also fun to enjoy myself.  How many of you have regular investments in these store and what do they payoff over time?  Is there anyone who has a regular income from any of these sites?

it is not an investment site, it is the exchangers or trading sites and you do not really invest there.

They're mostly gambling sites and gambling is not very lucrative, nor safe. It becomes addictive.

You can invest in the house and earn with it.

They dont have sigs.

But its just a misunderstanding. People think that a casino is only for gambling, but many bitcoin casinos offer investment services as well.

Most bitcoin casinos work on a crowdfund model, whereas the bankroll is madeup of investors money, so the risk and both reward is shared between the house and the investors.

Fairly certain Exurban's was a genuine misunderstanding - sig spammers tend not to engage with other posters when called out or questioned.

Sig spammers don't necessarily have signatures. Posters need to "level up" before sig campaigns will accept them - a lot of the sig spam comes from new users trying to reach the point where they'll get paid for their spam. I've been following a particular type of sig spam ("canned posts" (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1408075.0)) - when I first raised it on meta most of these posts had sigs; since I posted I've been reporting these posts and they now tend not to have signatures (I don't know how ethical this is, but I've not been reporting posts without sigs - I figure let them waste time levelling-up, and once they start posting with a sig - report their posts, and wham.)

The list is disappointingly short - not a criticism of you, RealBitcoin, just a comment on the disappointing lack of innovation in the BTC community. ramesh770 mentioned starting their own site - obviously that wouldn't be investing with BTC, but entrepreneurs like this open up opportunities for the rest of us to invest with our BTC. BTC needs more innovators! I'd like to see more BTC derivatives available, but I secretly hope people will come up with entirely new ways to - safely - invest with BTC.

Well what can I say, most bitcoin investment sites are ponzi schemes.

So there is only a limited amount of reputable websites out there that are not ponzis.

We certainly need more honest investment methods.

Absolutely. A few years back I was quite excited by cloud mining - I thought it might open up a whole new area of BTC investing. Now it looks like the real innovation there was finding a new way to present ponzis. Strange, given that many BTC users seem to view "ponzi" as a good thing! Even non-BTC types of investment - futures, options - seem to be very poorly represented. I guess part of that is regulation - a few exchanges have had their knuckles rapped for providing CFDs and swaps - so hopefully that'll change as exchanges reach compliance with their friendly local regulators... or they relocate to more innovation-friendly areas.

I am afraid the only "true" investment for making some profit is holding your bitcoins and waiting for the price to rise.

1. Investing in Casinos
Nothing is sure, a big whale may make a big win and your investment is gonne (the worst case scenario, keeping your bitcoins in your wallet is a better option)
2. Mining Contracts
Its good that you have listed only the legit ones, but with those you will never make ROI (So keep your bitcoins in your wallet)
3. Lending
Not very much familiar with it but I have not seen so much success stories here either and the one who does, is only a small percentage you get (So keep your bitcoins in your wallet)

Just my idea regarding the investment sites of bitcoin.

As far as the investing in casino's sites like bitvest have limits as the global investment go's up are down the limits go up or down.
That also means you share the risk with other not just your self so say 30 people invested the same amount a big win would be split based n your share of the pot.
Which means when there is wins an you have more then others you will roi faster, many sites you have to wait 24 hours just to pull investment bitvest its instant.
Its your funds so why should you have to wait to pull them out or divest when you feel its not a good time to be invested.

But technically its not roi since you funds are always in your control its clearly profit or loses.
But in the end the house always win short term there might be loses but there is always someone willing to chase wins an degen.

I did it on Bitfinex for a while, did OK. The return varies enormously - most of the time its tiny, and not worth it (I kept most of my investing stash of BTC away to avoid exchange-risk) but it spikes periodically (to ridiculously high levels) - that's when I'd pile in as much as I could, lend it for as long as I could, and then get out as the rate returned to the usual levels. I wouldn't recommend it full-time - the return is way too low - but targeting the rate spikes was at least quite profitable. At Bitfinex they take on the counter-party risk, so it's relatively risk-free (there's still the risk that Bitfinex itself collapses, or does a Gox, or something). As to whether I'd recommend it - I dunno. I spent a lot of time following rates, even when I wasn't invested.

I avoided normal lending sites, where the lender takes on counter-party risk and needs to worry about collateral.

Cloud mining could technically work, if they would be transparent.

Unfortunately, ponzi scammers are more often to find in these investments than real entrepreneurs.

Well they shouldn't be keeping more then 5 or 6% of the bankroll in live wallets.
Almost everything should be in some cold trezors.

Yep thats true, most casinos like satoshidice keep most of the money in cold storage, only a fraction in hot wallets.

So for larger TX you have to email them, but i doubt anyone has that much invested in the site, so its probably a collective money.

So if they lose that money, then it was probably an inside job or exit scam.

But you must have to study first before getting into cloud mining.
Because it has still a high risk when it comes to investing your money there.
But as far as I know, there are some sites that established long time ago and still paying as of today.

I think the sites listed in the first page are good. One of them is tied to antpool so it has to be legit.

If you go with a no-name cloud miner, then it is probably a scam.

I can also see that hashocean is running for a long time now and I can't see any bad comments to their service.
So, I can say that I would like also to recommend this site to you. Bu still you need to study how it works because we still don't know
if they are just getting trust to people and after that will just run away to their investors.

I had some investment on hashocean, but i dont recomend it. I like to use poloniex, just read about inveatments and criptocurrency, then u can start with trades, when u earn some experience in trades u can start with margin trades and up ur profit.

PS: the halving os come, then some cloudmine gonna be down/broke. Atention with ur precious money.

I personally believe bitvest is a good choice after a decent lose the site is already gaining a decent profit.
https://bitvest.io/charts

This site is also trusted its owned by the same people who run 777coin.com casino an they haven't seem to have had any issues in the past.
Well trusted.

Since the big win by a user the house has already made many decent profit who just hoped in an started investing.
A user with 2 btc join a few days ago with an already has 0.1+ profit.

Keep your btc in Bitkingdom. By providing help to bitkingdom community, u will get 1% return everyday. This would mean that your btc will increase 100% after 100 days. Do pm me for details, i am a registered bitkingdom members bearing username CHE5548MY. Keeping the btc in ur own wallet will not give you any earning. Lets join the community.

Sounds like your usual 'not a ponzi' investor-based games site (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1305732.0).
Started by a newbie throwaway account, which shows how much confidence the operator has in this all playing out well in the end.

This would mean that your btc will increase 100% after 100 days.
More likely your btc will decrease to 0% after X days.

Do pm me for details, i am a registered bitkingdom members bearing username CHE5548MY.
They got a referral system, right? This is getting better with every sentence.

Keeping the btc in ur own wallet will not give you any earning. Lets join the community.
I won't lose them when the ponzi operator runs either. Let's not invest stupidly with every random scam site.

I'd suggest you to delete your post up there.

Yes , make sure the websites you invest into are not ponzi schemes, because they will usually steal the bitcoins.

Always be skeptical and open eyed about too good to be true offers.

Yes be very careful...
if you are skeptical invest for free in my U2 system...and if you are very very skeptical...claim for free...claim the bonus worth 2000 satoshi...and sell...and sell and sell and sell...and sell...etc
so you will get fast 10000 satoshi
If you strust...you can invest for free and reinvest your profit...you chose...you are the manager of your shares...you can not lose...you can only earn more or less but only earn...

You can invest your Bitcoins to Hash Ocean website

Most investment programs are scams time and time again this has been proven - even  mining programs do not give you a return on investment. No matter how many times they promise you they do.
Best thing to do is to keep your coins to yourself.
