Title: mtgox withdrawals below 0.01 do not work! Post by: hamdi on September 28, 2012, 09:06:53 PM i noticed when you withdraw like 0.005 BTC from MTGOX to a BTC-address, it simply doesnt work.
the site returns a message, that the withdrawal took place + it gives you the transaction hash. but the transaction does not show up on blockchain/blockexplorer. nasty glitch. I don't think that TXes of less than 0.01 are useful at this moment from mtGox, but yes, it should at least gracefully fail or show some error message. Try doing a transaction at the same amount without a fee from your own client and you'll get the same result. Mt. Gox doesn't pay a fee. There's not much you can do at this point other than to wait.
