I own the domain name www.bitswaps.com and was looking to sell it, and still may, but perhaps I can actually do something with it.

If I decided not to sell it, what are services that you think fit this domain name very well?

Perhaps a mixing services, or perhaps acting as some sort of swaps bank type service (finding good loan deals if you know the needs of two different lenders, the lending topic in this forum is pretty large), or a service swapping for other cryptos, etc.

Just thought this was be an interesting brainstorm place for this.

Well, you could have a swap service, where people swap goods or services for Bitcoins, like a classified service combined with a eBay style site.

The only accepted payment method must be Bitcoin .... No PayPal / Credit cards .... purely Bitcoin.

We need more Bitcoin-only sites... the sites accepting Bitcoin with other payment methods, do not focus all their attention on promoting the Bitcoin community.  :(

Interesting, but there are many sites where people buy and sell goods for Bitcoin only. Like https://www.bitpremier.com/ - I would love to have a site like this.

Still open for ideas though.

Build a business news around the website and monetize it with ads.

Hmm...not sure if news fits that name. In terms of news I own btcnewjersey.com, btcmexico.com, btcbloomberg.com, and BTCunitedstates.com which is more suited for news. I am more interested in my bitswaps.com domain right now though.

Alright then, I think you should check the dictionary for the different meaning of the word swap, you might get an idea from there.

I know what swap means lol I just think its a good name and if I do something with it, I want it to be good.

Probably you knew what you are to do with the domain name but only sampling our opinions.

I don't see anything wrong with being open to ideas. Sorry I did not agree with you that I think a news site is fitting...no need to get defensive. I appreciate the input.

I think bitswaps would be a great place to buy BTC with USD or get other alts with BTC if you want at one fixed price without pushing up the price on an exchange.

The BTC to USD I am iffy on due to legal reasons, I want this to be legitimate.

If anyone is interested on the alt to bitcoin (or vice versa) swapping site, let me know.

www.bitswaps.com is a super good name for this, imo.

Or perhaps a dark pool for BTC to alts
