Primedice is hosting another creative competition. The last one was a great success with over 100 entree's & $1000's of BTC given away!

Edit: For Youtube video's, the likes/dislikes the video receive will not affect the outcomes. Videos with more dislikes & likes (The combined amount, not simply the amount of likes) will usually be considered better community feedback. We noticed in the last competition people thought dislike botting others videos will give them a higher chance of winning - this is NOT the case and will only actually HELP your competition out most likely :).

What should the video have in it?

Anything Primedice related! Be creative. Here's some examples off the top of my head:

 - Lucky betting sequences
 - Lucky faucet runs
 - Promotional/advertisement video
 - Information or guides on how to play Primedice
 - A review or overview of Primedice
 - Fun or funny chat moments
 - Maybe even a bit of all the above?

 - Video must be posted on Youtube
 - Video must be posted publicly on youtube (not unlisted/private)

 - 2nd place: 0.25 BTC
 - 3rd place: 0.25 BTC
 - 4th place: 0.2 BTC

PrimeDice is probably the richest Bitcoin only Dice site out there. I am not surprised by high bounties at all. If they could recover from Hufflepuff indecent without problems then giving people 1 or 2 BTC
for creating a commercial for them is really cheap for them. Imagine if they want  some professional advertising agency to do this kind of promo it would cost a lot of more money.

Ah awesome, but I would recommend you put in high balance instead of the 0 balance, the image is going to be used for promotion and I dont think 0 balance is a good promotion. Once again, awesome work on the pic.

About video contest.
I'm very dumb on making video that explained on the OP.

WELL WE ARE ON THE INTERNET AND THE IDEA and CONTENT WAS ORIGINAL BUT I JUST USED A BIT OF THAT VIDEO.

Great video but there's a lot of spelling mistakes and such. You should fix those up. For example "Players" not "Payers" and "Provably fair" not "Probably fair". Maybe ask someone in Primedice chat to proof read it for you and go over all mistakes. Great video though, loved it.

As for all the other entries some are looking great! It's been barely a day and some of the stuff is very impressive. It's good fun seeing everyone getting involved in a competition like this. As someone also mentioned above even if you don't win (Which is sort of hard since there's over 25 winners!) it's great practice!

This could actually be a really fun game. Angles are randomized, you can have an option to cash out if you hit lots of multiplier bricks in a row etc. Let me know what you guys think!

It was a creative idea, sorry you weren't impressed buddy. I think it's a lot better than most of these other submissions where they just take random images of coins and paste them on a image with the PD logo and misspell a bunch of shit.

 Primedice is known with their marketing projects. I believe they are currently doing better then 5+ by the duration of this contest , they are consistently making more money with this contest (and the public awareness it creates) then the final winner cost . Congratz for such accomplishment and awareness by the public.

Great vid but there's some grammar mistakes & a couple of spelling mistakes. Maybe get someone in Primedice chat to quickly proof read it for you & tell you what to change up. If there's any mistakes in that respect we can't use it.

If you're asking whether this is a GIF template, then no.
It's two After Effects wireframe templates files spliced together, with some motion graphics thrown in, rendered, compressed and finally converted into animated GIF.
Making something similar from scratch would take days.

Hey, I just accidentally ran into this one. And if I find sources for other contestants, I'll comment on that too.
My only concern with using premade templates is if you have the usage rights for them - because those are being sold online, and are available as "pirated" copies - Stunna probably doesn't want to be sued or something if he uses that video for promotion later on... :) Anyways, OP says "Videos/images must be original and not copied from someone else".

Pd is at more than 5bill bets, 1 million btcs wagered AFAIK. And I dont know whats it about the highest faucet, many other sites offer faucets bigger than PD, examples are cryptogames, the one in my sig, rollin, dadice(probably, at least equal to it).

But you didn't just comment on mine, did you? You tried to trap me. That's not a nice thing to do, since I can see a dozen other submissions made from templates, including the one you're championing as the best. Anyone remotely familiar with AE knows that - hence why I became suspicious of your motive. Some of the winners from the first competition are also made using templates. White board animation videos are made from templates. Powerpoint videos are made from templates. Building a one-minute video from scratch can take from days to weeks. Rendering AE files alone can take hours. This is why people use templates. That doesn't make their work any less original. For what its worth, the link you gave wasn't even the original.

If you're really concerned about Stunna's well being, perhaps you should do a search of all the submissions in this thread. I can give you a few pointers - I recognize a few source files. Let me know.  :)

PD logo is not that hard to redraw, but you can find in devthedev post there is a crown PDF uploaded, search for it.

Finally finished it. It took about 10 hours of work. Video is made purely in Flash (har har, old school :-X). So, no templates of any kind which enable you to create a video in 10 minutes...all hard manual work. Music also has a proper usage licence.

So the other half has been milling around on here for some time and I've only ever watched over his shoulder.

We went to the beach yesterday and took some shots for his entry and I decided to get involved, if that's ok?

Actually i was thinking something different. I think all entries should be looked at without knowing who posted them. Deciding winners and then connecting them to usernames.

I will be one of the judges and i know lots of people here and lets be honest nobody can be 100% objective when judging something that was made by somebody he knows.
Ofc Stunna , Edward , and one designer will be judging to so it somewhat eliminates that. But i still think entries should be watched without knowing who posted them.

Yeah i just noticed that you are 2nd place on both.

I think if you added more to that video it would be first. It is great intro, and made from scratch which is great but its just to short.

Hopefully you will get it next time.  

Personally, I prefer TheoLewis's over WhatTheGox's video.

The only thing I have an issue with on kori's video is the kerning of the text.

We all liked WhatTheGox's video so much . Nobody expected something like that. Very cool idea and executed nicely.

I knew I had to do the 3d wallpaper of PrimeDice, but it came into my mind too late... oh well I will do it when I have time.

I went for quality and attention to details over length :) Doing a full video would take a ton of my time for which I don't know if I would be paid for, so that was the reason. But thanks a lot!

You do realize that there was more than 12 entries? We liked more than that 12 videos but we had to select only 12 winners.

And you used a lot of template/downloaded graphics that you did not make.

There will always be people who are not happy with results but be fair and consider the competition, and respect your competition.

Winners have been chosen by 4 judges . So it did not depend on one guys taste. One of the judges is a professional designer to.
